Jennie wakes up early in the morning thanks to the ringing and annoying alarm clock on her phone, which has trained her to open her eyes literally from the first squeak and, it seems, making her sleep more sensitive. She definitely wants to tell work to go to hell at such moments, but these are the first minutes. But then, after taking a shower, washing and brushing your teeth, you start to feel definitely better and even don't mind going to work anymore.
Of course, today are the days when a girl may not go to the office, but working at home is extremely unproductive for her, and if others manage to create a focus exclusively on work, then she does not do very well. Kim can endlessly be distracted by YouTube videos, sticking to the clock there; go to the kitchen for snacks, and this is the only physical activity throughout the day; and the worst thing is to log into social networks, which you literally get into, like in a time machine. In the office, you give yourself such indulgences only on a legitimate break or stealthily while you rest after another completed task.
And now Jennie is still lying on the bed, sprawled out like a star, sleepily staring at the snow-white ceiling. She turns her head to the side, looking out the big, spacious windows, and sighs, realizing that the weather today is just as shitty as the last couple of days. The CN Tower is practically invisible, and the nearest buildings too, because they are all engulfed in dense fog, and outside there is probably a nasty, drizzling rain, causing small shivers from the cold and small muscles to contract in the upper part of the body in an attempt to keep warm.
Jennie sighs heavily, closing her eyes for a second, and then begins to lazily get out of the warm cozy bed, simultaneously grabbing her phone. She trudges straight to the bathroom, while starting to check for new messages, mostly from Taehyung , Ella, Lisa or mom, who asks to call when she has free time.
After taking morning treatments and wrapping herself in a gray terry towel, the girl headed to the kitchen, wanting to make herself a portion of normal coffee. Now there is no mood to drink this drink, so the girl takes out a geyser coffee maker and, spinning it, fills the contents with water and freshly ground coffee, and then puts it on the stove.
While the drink is being prepared, Jennie goes to Instagram, and the first thing she sees is, it seems, a new photo of Irene. Kim purses her lips, looking at it, and fights the urge to see what her ex posted. To be honest, the girl tried not to think much about Irene all these days, and there was rarely a time when she could allocate a place for her ex in her thoughts. Her mind was full of problems with her job, and only occasionally did Kim allow herself to think about it. Jennie is amazed at herself and the feelings that Irene evokes in her, or rather, their absence.
Their relationship seemed so doomed to break up that it hardly surprised Jennie. She doesn't miss the girl at all, probably partly due to the fact that Irene often left, and her next long business trip only made everything worse. It was unlikely that this relationship could already be called a relationship, but they didn't break up and continued to be a couple at a distance, and Jennie was disgusted every time by the thought that Irene had cheated on her, and even was not going to talk, most likely. Jennie doesn't want to think at all that her ex has probably done this before, and then returned to her. These thoughts make Jennie angry, and she doesn't want to feel this feeling at all, because Irene is not worth it.
Jennie smiles bitterly, looking at her ex's new post and seeing there a photo with an almost empty plate and a glass of wine, seemingly taken in a restaurant, and the inscription "Thank you for a wonderful evening." Jennie realizes that she obviously doesn't care about the breakup either. The realization of this fact, of course, hurts her, but it doesn't make her endlessly look at the photo and cry. Somewhere in her chest, a slightly stinging pain is felt, giving her an understanding that it really hurts a little and the betrayal of her partner is still felt, but in the end it just pushes Jennie once again to think less about her ex and just go headlong into work until thoughts about that almost completely stop visiting her.
