In the afternoon, Jisoo arrived with a bag of food and medicine, intending to treat her friend seriously, and by the evening Rose really felt better. Her headache was gone, and her fever had gone down considerably. The cold didn't seem to have a chance.
The girls were now cozily occupying the couch, putting their feet up on the table and just staring at the ceiling, having a heart-to-heart talk. Rose shared with her friend about the intense stress and worry she had experienced during the week. She shared that she felt pressured by work, her current project, her decision about Seattle, and was just really tired from the workload. In recent days, she started to show signs of anger, which caused the blonde to give herself more exercise and run more in order to somehow get it out of her body. From anger, a person can snap at the wrong person, and the girl does not want this very much. Maybe lying on the couch with Jisoo all weekend is the best solution. Smoke a couple cigarettes, drink a bottle of wine and have a heart-to-heart talk with her friend.
Hyeri: Rosie, how are you feeling?
Rose reads the incoming message and, rolling her eyes, shifts a slanted gaze to her friend, who is still staring at the ceiling.
-Did you tell Hyeri about this?
-We were just chatting. - Jisoo shrugged and waved a trifle.
Sighing, Rose types a reply:
Rose: Fine 😊
Hyeri: That's good :))
Hyeri: Do you need something?
-Maybe you should invite her.- Jisoo suggests.- I'll tell her to bring a bottle of wine with her.
-You look for profit in everything, don't you?- Rose chuckled.
Her friend seemed to forget that she was here originally to cure the blonde of her cold, not going to booze all night.
-What's wrong? Red wine is healthy.- Kim clucked, then reached for her glass, in which the drink was already at the bottom.
Rose: No, but Jisoo suggests you come and have a drink with us😅
Rose: I'm of course against this venture because you risk getting sick, but seeing you would be nice😊
Hyeri: In all the time we lived together, you never once gave me a cold😁
Hyeri: I'll be there soon👍
Hyeri: Let me guess, this beauty needs me to buy something?
Rose laughs, realizing that Hyeri also knows Jisoo as well as she does. Predictable Jisoo.
Rose: Yes🍷😁
Rose felt lousy the next morning, but not because of the cold, which seemed to have finally gone away, but because of the drunken evening with her friends. Hyeri had brought a couple of bottles of wine and more food and the girls had spent most of the morning just talking about everything in life and drinking red wine, and then they'd switched to a joint from a little store in the Little Italy neighborhood that Jisoo liked to visit on occasion. Hyeri, being the most sensible one at the time, took the phones from her friends and threw them into the bathroom, closing the door immediately. Her reasoning was that she wouldn't be tempted to make a mess, and that applied specifically to Rose, who kept up a correspondence with Jennie, but the further the girls started drinking, the higher the risk was for the blonde to type a lot of unnecessary things.
Hyeri, like Jisoo, was well aware of Rose's relationship with Jennie and all the difficulties that had arisen. Unfortunately, the girls could not support their friend with advice, but they supported her for the right choice in terms of career. Maybe it's the right thing to do, although they saw that their words didn't do much to help the blonde stop feeling guilty. It was seen how she was torn and how much she was attracted to Jennie, but this uncertainty forced to make a choice not in favor of Kim. Rose still doesn't know how strong Jennie's feelings for her are. Is it just sympathy? A crush? The blonde is still trying to sort out her feelings on her own, and so far there's still no clear understanding. Maybe it's for the best and this uncertainty about her feelings will help her deal with the separation more easily.
