The weekend passed rather quickly. Jennie allowed herself to think over her decision carefully, and in her heart she had already made it. Thinking on a fresh head, the girl began to think more rationally and balanced, realizing that everything was really not so terrible. First of all, Rose will be with her, who will give her advice and recommendations; secondly, she knows all her colleagues and they all treat her well and will help her in the first time, as after Jay's departure. For those matters in which Kim still has no experience, the blonde will teach her, including negotiating with the board. With these thoughts, the girl lying in bed closes her eyes and exhales. On Monday, she is ready to give her answer.

Rose spent the weekend in the company of friends. On Sunday Mark (Jisoo's friend) flew in, so they spent a nice evening at a restaurant enjoying each other's company, delicious food and amazing music. Mark talked a lot about Marseille, sharing funny moments of working there. Then the conversation smoothly turned to the upcoming hockey game, and Rose and Mark began to tease Jisoo that she only pretended not to like hockey, while she screamed the loudest when her favorite team scored a goal.

The blonde wanted to write Jennie a message several times during breaks and ask how she was, but each time she just looked at the profile icon in the chat room and did not dare, realizing that she needed time to think it over. The girl also hoped that if Jennie was in a lot of pain, she would write a message. That's why the girls didn't contact each other all weekend, leaving it till Monday.

It was December. Monday - December 2, and Jennie was charged with positivity from the morning, having watched Christmas movies on Sunday and listened to music from Monday morning while going to the office. Over those two and a half days, the girl had accepted the fact that she was going to be an art director and was no longer as apprehensive, knowing that Rose would be on hand at any moment. She was also glad that she would be seeing the blonde more often because of the need to supervise her.

On the one hand, she realized that it was a bad idea to get even closer to Rose. The feelings that Jennie was beginning to have for her would very likely not be mutual and Kim would be left with a broken heart. On the other hand, it's hard not to notice Rose's special treatment of Jennie, as well as her glances in Kim's direction. The brown-haired girl realizes that the fact that Rose will be leaving the company soon and their working relationship is temporary will keep the two of them from crossing the line. Jennie can't afford to do that, being as vehemently opposed to relationships between employees with different levels of authority. It's wrong and unprofessional. She's afraid of becoming very attached to the one who will soon leave and their paths will part. Jennie hopes that during these four months she will be able to cool down to Rose and her feelings will not develop into something more than sympathy and crush, which the girl still rejects with all her might.

When she got to the office, Jennie first went up to Seokjin's floor, deciding to tell him her decision at once. The man was not surprised, but he did not hide his joy. He offered Jennie to sign the contract in advance or, if the girl wanted, closer to the date of taking office. Jennie decided that she would do it at the beginning of the next year, and at the same time there would be more time and opportunity to change her mind. Of course, Kim wouldn't do that, but she doesn't think it's right to sign the contract ahead of time, even up front.

Before the retrospective, the girl met Rose in the hallway right before the meeting started and informed her that the decision had been made. The blonde was happy to hear the news, realizing that it was now possible to announce it in front of the staff, and also to offer Nayeon the position to Jennie, hoping that she wouldn't refuse. Rose was almost certain that she would accept the offer, especially if she was prepared for the role of Art Director.
