Already being in Costco, the girls started promptly with a cart walking around the giant store and looking for the necessary departments, and in parallel sharing among themselves what they usually take here.

-If you need anything, you can have it too, okay?- Rose offered casually, rolling the cart into the pet section.

-Are you sure? I don't want to stress you out.- Jennie folds her hands over her stomach, interlacing her fingers in embarrassment, and Rose just smiles.

-Jennie, please.- The blonde clucked her tongue, still surprised that Jennie hadn't realized that she never stressed her out, and all Rose wanted was to genuinely help and take care of her in any way she could.- I'm taking you home anyway. And you never stress me out, okay?

Kim smiles warmly and nods. Hearing this from Rose feels good and warms her soul. Even walking through the store together is the best time. No worries, just the two of them, chatting about everyday life and unreasonably high prices for some goods.

-Then I need a cart too...

The girls spent a couple of hours in the store, running from one department to another, but having successfully bought everything they could, they happily went outside and loaded the black sedan to the brim.

Twenty minutes later, through the busy streets of Toronto, the girls reached Rose's mother's house. The black sedan parked in the usual place, which the woman periodically clears from snow. All the way through the bedroom neighborhood where she lives, Jennie looked around the apartment buildings with great curiosity and interest. The neighborhood is quite old, and the houses in it too, but each in its own way beautiful and built by old technologies. There are practically no such houses being built now, and Jennie especially liked the houses that were forty years old and older; there was something special about them, but their prices were high.

-You can stay in the car, I'll take the shopping to the house now, okay? - Rose offered, not wanting to stress the girl out in any way.

-Let me help you. - Jennie immediately offers, unbuckling her seatbelt.

-No need.- Rose smiles weakly, unbuckling her seatbelt as well.- I don't think I need any help.

-Did you see how many bags there are?- Jennie smiles, raising one eyebrow.

Rose wanted to object, but out of the corner of her eye she saw her mom leaving the house, wearing a warm work jacket and a shovel, obviously going to clean the driveway. The blonde girl didn't say anything to Jennie and got out of the car, opening the door.

-Mom, don't tell me you were just about to shovel snow?- Park splays her hands out, looking at the woman approaching the car.

-I'll just shovel some snow by the road. - The woman defends herself immediately. -It relaxes me, you know.

The blonde only sighs heavily, realizing that telling her mother not to do something is useless.

-Do you realize you're putting a strain on your back anyway?- Rose starts to grumble, but heads to the back door of the sedan and opens it.- Let me do it tomorrow. You don't have to do it now.

As Rose pulls large bags from the cabin, the woman faintly hears what her daughter is saying to her, and looks only at the front seat passenger and how she begins to climb out of the car.

-Good afternoon.- Jennie waved her hand in embarrassment as she slammed the door of the sedan shut.

The woman raised her eyebrows in surprise and smiled, also waving her hand. The gears in her head immediately started turning at an incredible speed.
