"Sit back down, Nicky," Michael stood in the open doorway directly in my view and way. His body was covered in pure black with a small hint of red on his top.

"Fuck off, Michael," I sneered, glaring at him and stepping forward to be closer to him. His facial expression turned to something sinister, a smirk that showed pure evil in his eyes as if something switched in his mind.

"No can do, darling,"

"Nicky-," enough with the darling shit, Michael.

"We can't let you run off to dear Uncle who runs the department to hunt us down. To catch us, to put us in prison. You can't go anywhere, Nicky."

"Michael-," stay out of this, Kensie, please. As much as I knew he wouldn't do anything to her, it didn't stop the fear in me.

"Sit back down," he growled, ignoring Kensie, thank god. He took a single step closer to me, his scent flooding and surrounding me.

"No," Within a blink of an eye, a gun barrel was aimed towards me, inches away from my face, making me flinch and step back.

"I will shoot you, darling," he sneered, turning the safety off and smirking evilly. "I know exactly where to shoot, where it doesn't cause too much damage; don't kill you. Maybe a nice bullet through the leg, really make sure you can't leave." He scoffed, laughing.

"Someone will call the police, Michael," I whimpered, looking over at Kensie, begging mentally for her to do something.

"Nicky, just sit back down," she whispered.

"Kensie, get out of here," Michael snapped, barely looking towards her.

"Kens-."

"Shut up, Nicky!" A gunshot was aimed at the wall behind me, making me flinch and my hands shoot up to cover my mouth in shock. A scream fell and snaked out of my mouth as I squeezed my eyes shut. Kensie quickly ran out of the room. He just shot beside me, inches away from my head, landing deep in the wall behind me. Poor Luke. "Sit back down,"

I finally buckled and let my body fall down onto Luke's bed, my eyes filling with water as fear sank in. I was going to die.

"This is how it's going to go, Nicky. You're going to stay here and not leave. Not go to dear Morgan, not even contact your family. You're to stay here in this room until you're wanted or needed,"

"You can't hold me hostage here, Michael," I whispered.

"I can do what I want, Nicky. You know too much. As soon as you started to snoop with what happened to Sarah, you spoke to Amy. You do know, though, Amy's part of the gang too."

"You killed her aunt, Michael," I was in disbelief. There's no way she was okay with it.

"She wanted it. Sarah was nothing to you except someone you just worked with. A random person that stopped us killing the next person on your list linked to you. So really, you should thank Amy for wanting her dead," the gun spun around on his finger as he just spoke as if he weren't admitting why murders happened. "Although we didn't expect for her to spill about Calum now, that was a surprise," a bitter laugh left his mouth as he threw his head back. "So you can thank her for why you're here. She's only a few floors down."

Silence. I couldn't find any words to even form a single sentence in response to what I'd just heard.

"Nothing to say now, have you?" Taunts left his mouth as I just sat there wide-mouthed and in shock. "Gone all silent on me. You know I'm shocked; I was always told you're a big mouth by Calum."

"Is he here?" Finally, words left my mouth as I refused to look up at him.

"Course he is, Nicky,"

"Can I see him..." He shook his head before leaving the room, slamming the door behind him, making me jump off the bed in fear, finding myself backed against the wall now holding a bullet deep in the drywall.

"Nicky," Calum whispered, opening the door, making my head snap over to look at him.

"What did you do?" I blamed him for all of this, and I knew he could tell. He was the reason I was currently in Luke's room. He's the one who tried to be friends with me. He's the one who dated and fucked the lunatic who spilled the beans on who he is.

"I didn't want you to be dragged into this, Nicky. I tried so hard to hide it. Kensie did as well. If you didn't go to Amy-,"

"I wouldn't be a hostage who just had a bullet shot at her. Ok Calum," I sunk down to the floor and pulled my knees to my chest. "I would be at home writing an article right now."

"We couldn't risk you doing that. You wrote one up about me-,"

"How did you know that?" I slowly raised my head to look at him. "Only Kensie knew... and Luke!" I yelled, grabbing the nearest cushion off his bed and throwing it at Calum; it falling short and landing on the floor. "That fucking bastard," I felt betrayed for some reason; he didn't like me, there was no reason to feel betrayed.

"He never told us. You left your laptop unlocked and open."

"You went on my laptop," I sighed, sounding broken. My privacy was gone.

"We wanted to bring it here..."

"So you broke into my home, my safe space. Actually, no, did Kensie grab it?" It wasn't a question but more of a statement. I know she grabbed it from the silence and the way he never denied it. "Fucking fantastic. Just go, Calum." I couldn't leave the room. Scratch that, I didn't want to leave the room. Luke would have to drag me out of here himself if he wanted his bed back. They wanted me as a hostage, well, that's what I'll be.
