Shortly after being ambushed by that strange invisible force, the Sunny sailed into a giant spiderweb that was indestructible no matter what you or the others did. Not even Zoro's swords could cut through it.
The Sunny was basically forcefully docked at the island, leaving you little to no choice but to leave the ship and explore the place. Besides, you had to look for Nami, Usopp, and Chopper anyway.
You threw your backpack over your shoulder, holding it stable by one of the straps. It was packed with food, camping supplies, and more necessities you'd need to advance into an abnormal island.
"Alright! Let's move out!" Luffy exclaimed, throwing his fist into the air. His backpack was the largest since it was full of the most food, and he almost whacked you with it due to his overwhelming excitement. "Oh! Sorry, [Name]!"
"It's fine," You sweat-dropped, your eyes beginning to scan your surroundings. There was a staircase leading down into the island, leading to who knows where. "We can go down there, maybe?"
"It looks like it's the only way we can go," Sanji puffed out a ball of smoke, holding his cigarette in between his fingers as he ventured down the stairwell. All of you followed closely behind him, not wanting to stray too far. "Why does it go right into a staircase down, anyway?!"
"This is the entrance, so there's no point thinking about it," Luffy shrugged, throwing his fishing net over his shoulder. The bones littered across the ground cracked against his feet, popping noises echoing through the crevice every few seconds. "Oh, the ground is covered in bones!"
A faint growling and barking brought you to a halt. One of the creatures you've only read about in myths, a Cerberus, approached with its three dog-like heads. Slobber was dripping from their mouths, bloodlust visible in their eyes.
Nothing was said.
The Cerberus froze, not expecting you or your friends to not be phased in the slightest by its acts of intimidation.
"Hmm. Cerberus, huh? He would have been safer in hell."
"My, how cute!"
"What a cutie! It doesn't look as scary as the legends say!"
