Gecko Moria was now bringing you along with him to some place called the 'special freezer'... You couldn't really make out what the Warlord was saying about it -- maybe it was a room made for cryo-sleep? That's what you assumed.
Holding Luffy's squirming shadow in his other hand, he waltzed down the corridor to reach the special freezer. Without even being close to the freezer, you could still feel cold air blowing onto your skin, chills running wild across your entire body.
Your captain's body was left behind in the room where his shadow got extracted, Moria's henchmen speaking of their plan about tossing him back onto the Sunny with Zoro and Sanji. They must've been there after their shadows got stolen, too.
Moria's grip on you was so tight that you were worried you'd lose all the oxygen in your lungs if he squeezed any harder. Grunts and gasps escaped you as you tried to wriggle out of his hold, though his strength made it considerably impossible.
"Sheshesheshe! You might be wondering what makes you so useful towards my venture to the New World, correct?" The Warlord laughed, his hold on you growing tighter when you managed to wriggle out of his grasp by just an inch or two. "Though you don't have as high a bounty compared to the rest of your crew, once the World Government realizes your power, you'll catch up in due time."
"I could care less about my origins," You snapped back, his eyes widening ever so slightly. "I'd rather die than fight by your side. I only left my homeland because it was the Straw Hats that offered for me to join them! If it wasn't for them, I would still be there right now, making time with my family!"
"Something tells me that you've been offered to learn about yourself before," He speculated, your memory's flashing back to when Eneru demanded you to stay by his side, in exchange for embracing your identity. "But... In all honesty, I expected you to at the very least know about yourself. But you don't even know a clue? That's a tragedy!"
Bullets of sweat trickled down from your forehead, liquid flavored with a salty taste glossing your lips. When you thought about it, you didn't remember anything past Conis and Pagaya coming across you in a flurry of clouds belonging to a distant sky island they visited for vacation.
"A descended race from a celestial deity, the Seraphines. Rumored to be one of, if not the fastest race traversing across our world's many seas. The strength of their wings alone able to bring about the strongest tornadoes, change cloud formations and stir natural disasters, earning them the title of the Rulers of the Surface World," Moria smirked down at your wings, your previously disregarded potential hidden within them. "But there was a problem -- the World Government despised them and their acts of rebellion. One of the many reasons they were so popular all those centuries ago was due to their hatred for what the Government came to be over centuries of adaptation..."
