You don't exactly know what happened, but in the midst of Jinbe and Luffy's fight, Robin abruptly appeared in between them, ordering them to stop. You were worried she was gonna get hit, until Sanji leaped after her, attempting to protect her with his body. Unfortunately for him, Robin disappeared with the help of her Devil Fruit, leaving Sanji in the center of the two fists rocketing toward him. Ultimately, he was the victim of the attack, and as a result, all three of them fell onto their backs, defeated.
Robin then reappeared, and walked out of the clearing of a nearby forest. "Don't fight. I don't know what happened, but you two are friends, right?"
"Huh?! What was Robin doing in the forest?!" Chopper's eyes popped out of his head.
Robin...
"Think about it, Luffy," Jinbe steadily sat up, wiping the remnants of spilled blood from the corners of his mouth. "What will happen if you guys resort to violence now on Fishman Island? Every time fishmen tried to open their hearts to humans, humans disappointed them. 'Humans are brutal', 'humans hate and despise fishmen'. What happened in the past planted those twisted ideas in the minds of fishmen. And as for Arlong, there are some fishmen who believe that humans took him down just because he was a fishman. So if you and your crew who beat Arlong fight Hody now, what do you think will happen? Even if it helps this island get through this crisis, the sight of you defeating Hody who rebels against humans... will remind the people of Fishman Island of its tragic history."
"But, Jinbe..." Sanji sucked in a mouthful of smoke from his cigar, and slowly puffed it back out. "It's only natural that we'd want to save our captured friends. And if nothing is done, Fishman Island will fall into Hody's hands. We have some good friends living here. Jinbe. I think part of the reason Luffy wants to save this country is because this is your home. And if he wants to do it, we'll go along with him. We can't just leave the island."
"Jinbe, please--" You tried to chime in to reason with your old friend, but he quickly denied your attempt at speaking, holding up his webbed hand to signal for you to stop. "Jinbe..."
"No. No matter what you say, I won't let you."
"DAMN YOU!" Luffy suddenly screamed, the anger in his expression evident. "I'll just have to beat my way past you, then!"
