"There are five different places that we know of in the Blue Sea," Nami pointed the end of her quill down at the chart she was showing you. "The East Blue, North Blue, South Blue, West Blue, and the Grand Line... Right now, we're in the Grand Line! This sea is dangerous, so you have to be prepared."
"So many Blue Sea's..." You admired with sparkles in your eyes. The ship was still floating in the air thanks to the octopus inflated to the size of a jumbo balloon, and you were impatient to see regular ocean water for the first time. "That's so cool!"
"Right?" The navigator smiled, amused from your reaction. She's never met someone who was overjoyed knowing that they would be able to see what seawater looked like. "We're getting closer and closer to the water! Luffy, how's the octopus holding up?"
"He's doing perfe--" Luffy looked up at the flame dial emitting fire up into the octopus to see if it was still lit. His eyes widened when he saw that the flame dial ran out of fuel, no longer spewing out any fire to keep the octopus inflated. "The fire went out!"
"Out of fuel?" Zoro opened one eye, waking up from his nap. "Hey, Usopp! We're about to make a splashdown!" He called out to Usopp, who was currently working on the underside of the ship with Chopper.
The moment the octopus ran out of air in his head to keep the Merry afloat, the ship began to plummet down towards the sea. Usopp and Chopper climbed back onto the ship right before it hit the water, causing a large splash that made you slightly wet.
"J--Just in the nick of time!"
You held your arms out for the octopus that now shrunk into its original form, which was really tiny. It felt into your arms, and you pat it on the head as thanks. "Thanks for getting us here safely!"
"My turn! My turn!" Luffy snatched the octopus from you, and began to nuzzle his face against it. "Thanks for helping us out!" He chuckled, and ran over to the edge of the Merry to dump the octopus in the water. "Thanks again!"
"Take care!" Chopper crawled onto the railing, and waved to the octopus with his hoof. "I hope you make some good friends in the Blue Sea!"
"Go give all those Grand Line octopuses a throttling!"
"So long, seafood ingredient!"
"Thanks for everything! Be careful on your way!"
The little octopus waved all of you goodbye, and within the next few seconds, it went underwater. All the others walked away after deciding to head for the next island, but you stood still by the railing, watching how the surface of the water rippled at the slightest movement.
