Unexpectedly, you ran into Nami, Usopp, and Brownbeard on the way back to the lab. Nami, apparently, got stuck in Sanji's body after another soul transition conducted by Law, so you had to call her Namji.
They were also fleeing from the poison gas, making you wonder how they get separated from the others--but Namji said there was no time to explain, due to the looming threat of the poison gas creeping up behind you.
Brownbeard, for some reason, was far more cooperative than he was before with your crew. He offered to give you a break from carrying your friends across the island, and said that you could take temporary refuge on his back, as he marched toward the lab.
You were growing tired, and didn't want to risk the lives of your friends by being such; you accepted the centaur's favor, and joined Namji and Usopp on his back. You flew your friends away just enough so that you wouldn't be caught up in the gas.
"Brownbeard-san, do you see the lab up ahead yet?!" You asked the marching former pirate, since you couldn't really see that far ahead in the snowstorm on your own.
"Yes! It's right up ahead!" He replied, making your eyes light up in relief. "Though, they're closing the shutters, so I have to be quick! Hang on tight, everyone!"
"AAH! WE'RE GOING TO GET CAUGHT BY THE GAS!" Namji sobbed, pouncing onto you for comfort. "[Name]-chan, if we die here, just remember that I--"
"DON'T SAY STUFF LIKE THAT!" Usopp yelled out, hitting the navigator over the top of her head. If you were in any other situation, Namji wouldn't have taken the hit so lightly, but she was more worried about the gas. "B--But... WE MIGHT DIE HERE! THE SHUTTER IS CLOSING TOO QUICKLY!"
"Hey, Kin'emon! Can you cut iron?" Zoro asked the samurai.
Kin'emon looked ahead, and narrowed his eyes. "That's not so hard to cut!"
"Brownbeard! Keep charging like this!"
"That's ridiculous! I'm gonna crash into the wall!"
