All you could do was inevitably watch in hope, as the giant ship drifting over the island ceased to a slow halt. It was completely blocking your view of whatever else might've been happening up there, preventing you from even doing something as simple as checking on Luffy and Shirahoshi's well-beings.
Even though you couldn't see the commotion, you sure could hear it. Amidst their fighting in the ocean above, their clashes were loud, and their shouts bubble-bursting, though you couldn't hear what they were actually saying.
You wouldn't be a bad fighter in the water--in the case that you were up there, helping your two friends. Your wings could serve as good propellers, almost similar to fins, just not as adjusted to harsh ocean currents.
But you couldn't refuse the words of your captain. He told you that he'd handle it, so all you could do was place your trust in him, as usual. There's something about him, your captain. No matter how much he struggles in a fight, or how much stronger his opponent may be, he always prevails and wins.
He may get knocked down one or two times, but he always gets back up. That's what you love about him. He's so stubborn; so determined, that you can't help but place your life in his rubbery hands. He's been like that since the two of you first met.
You're confident he won't fall here.
Until then, you had other things to worry about.
"[Name]!" Robin ran up to you, catching your attention and making you spin on your heel. She was wearing a pair of sunglasses, so you couldn't see the irritation in her eyes--but you could hear it in her voice. "Help me free the human slaves. The fishmen are doing horrible things to them."
"I'm on it," You nodded, and quickly got to work in turning your head to look for the enslaved victims of the fishmen. It wasn't hard to find them, since they were just about everywhere, and made up half of Hody's army. "Robin, I'll free the ones that way. You should take the ones on the opposite end."
"I was already planning to. Be careful, [Name]."
"Same for you!"
The human slaves being forced to do the fishmen's dirty work was already on your mind, before Robin approached you with the favor. You didn't like seeing innocents enslaved. No, scratch that--you didn't like seeing anyone enslaved. If Pierre didn't save you all those years ago from the World Government, you would've been a slave, rather than a pirate, roaming the seas with your closest friends.
