Lucci towered over you, eyeing you and your crew as if you were something as mere as prey. A leopard taking on the shape of a human -- that was enough to describe his current, intimidating appearance.
You've heard about this kind of existing Devil Fruit. The Zoan type...
Every few seconds there was an itch in your throat, forcing you to cough in order to let the suffocating amounts of ash out of your lungs. The fire Lucci spoke of was already starting to spread; smoke slipping past your lips as it reached into the room.
"Looks like the fire has started to spread." Lucci said casually, not caring a tad about the burning of the building.
Paulie pulled away from you completely, standing up as his eyes met Lucci's, "I don't know if you're a leopard human or what, but... I won't let you lay a finger on Iceberg-san!"
"Oh, no! Carnivore Zoan types become more brutal!" Chopper exclaimed, having a good clutch of information about Lucci's animalistic model.
"That's right. Logia types, Zoan types, and Paramythia types... Many unique powers exist. Genuine physical augmentation is the trait of Zoan types. The more we train, the stronger we get," Lucci explained, slouching over so his head wouldn't touch the ceiling with his abnormal height. "The Zoan type is the strongest species when it comes to a close attack."
"Shut up!" Paulie demanded, making you increasingly worried if he continued to shout at such strong enemies like that. "I don't wanna hear stuff about monsters like that!"
"We don't want to waste time, either... since we have to take care of you guys before we get wrapped up in flames."
The shouts of the concerned shipwrights running up the stairs to the floor you were on could be heard, all of them inching closer in order to check on their boss', Iceberg's safety.
"Lucci... the craftsmen are coming upstairs." Kalifa warned.
"Don't worry. They can't make it this far."
Lucci raised his spotted leg up, and kicked the air with it. At first it didn't seem like it did anything -- but the kick was so strong that a portion of the air in the room formed into a life-threatening wind, taking on the shape of a slash aimed directly up at the entrance to the room.
