"Let's pull him out!"
Luffy, eager to discover the truth behind the man's involvement within the island, yanked on his two hind legs that were sticking out of the severed dragon's head. The man, however, did not take very kindly to the act of support.
"BU! Hey, who are you?! Get your hands off of me-bu!"
"Hey! I'm helping you! Stay calm!"
No matter how hard your captain tugged on the man's lower half, he never budged even once. You sweat-dropped, surprised at how stuck he was inside the dragon. You wondered how he possibly even got stuck in the first place.
"How is he even talking if his upper half is stuck inside the dragon? Shouldn't he be choking, or something?" You questioned, lifting a brow as you watched the strange scene unfold. "Not that I want him to choke, but..."
"That's what I was wondering, as well. He should have no access to a proper source of oxygen if he's in there." Robin agreed, humming in wonder.
After a few more harsh tugs, the man finally came out from the dragon's skin. All of you peered over Luffy in order to get a better view of his appearance, but rather than being relieved that you saved a man from suffocating inside a dragon, you were so shocked that your eyes nearly popped out.
"I--I--IT'S MISSING!!"
The upper half of the man's body was missing, nowhere to be found anywhere near you. For a split second, you thought Luffy might've accidentally killed the poor guy, but if that was the case, he would've been bleeding out of his lower half. Instead, he just looked like a puzzle piece that hadn't yet found its counterpart.
Even though you made that observation, Luffy and Usopp truly thought he got ripped in half.
"HE'S TORN IN HALF! I'M SORRY!"
"YOU FOOL! SORRY ISN'T ENOUGH! YOU KILLED HIM!"
The lower half then jumped onto its feet, "Oh! I'm finally separated from it-bu!"
