“Uh...” Lisa choked on his question. She didn’t want to hurt his self esteem, so she quickly replied, “Of course not.”

Only then did Jungkook turn his head in satisfaction and continue to look at his phone seriously.

“Eunbi, what are you talking about. I don’t know anything about the land purchase or the Qin family.” Lisa’s eyes were cold as she spoke word by word.

“Why are still pretending? Do you think that I don’t know what you’re planning? Aren’t you trying to get in the Qin family’s good graces so you can leave that pauper? Lisa couldn’t stand listening to Eunbi’s incoherent screams and curses, so she just hung up the phone.

When she walked out of the bedroom, Lisa’s face was darkened, while Jungkook was still quietly browsing the news and reports on his phone without raising his head.

Lisa said softly, “I’m going out to get some fresh air.”

Then, she opened the door and walked out. She walked aimlessly all the way to the river where she usually washed their clothes. There, she sat down on a big rock.

At this moment, the warm sunlight shone on her body, but she only felt a chill all over her body.

According to Eunbi, the Mo family did not voluntarily pay for her mother’s medical fees. Instead, they were forced to do so because they were under some kind of coercion.

The source of Eunbi’s anger was the man she mentioned, Taehyung .

“Taehyung ...” Lisa muttered the name and a thought suddenly appeared in her mind.

Was the young boss she met at the jewellery store called Taehyung ?
