When she heard that it was a negligible punishment, Krystal was immediately unhappy. She held onto Kai’s hand and said coquettishly, “Hubby, why are you so soft-hearted? Deal with it according to the company’s rules!”
When he heard this, Kai’s head started to hurt. Krystal was constantly bullying pretty girls in the company. Usually, he would turn a blind eye to it, but Lisa was the girl whom he had been trying so hard to pursue but to no avail.
He had not even taken advantage of Lisa yet, so how could he let Krystal chase her away like this?
Thinking of protecting Lisa, Supervisor Zhou waved his hand and said, “Forget it, Krystal. She’s still a newcomer. It’s normal for her to make mistakes.”
Realizing that Supervisor Zhou was intentionally protecting her, Krystal’s gaze turned fierce and she suddenly said sternly, “Supervisor Zhou, do you have a crush on her?”
“Of course not. Krystal, why would you think that?” Supervisor Zhou was shocked. The dark thoughts in his heart were exposed and he immediately denied it.
Lisa, who was originally standing at the side and resigned to her fate, was also uncomfortable. Wasn’t Krystal’s statement a little too overboard?
Hence, Lisa also clarified, “I have nothing to do with Supervisor Zhou. Please be careful with your words!”
Krystal snorted coldly and suddenly curved her lips into a smile. “Alright, then I’ll bring her to my uncle so that he can give her a better punishment!”
Hearing that, Kai broke out in a cold sweat. He had relied on Krystal’s uncle as the deputy general manager to get his position, so he did not dare to offend her. It seemed that Lisa was done for. He smiled bitterly and said, “Alright, whatever you say.”
Then, Kai waved his hand, signalling them to leave. Krystal then led Lisa to look for her uncle. When they entered the elevator, Lisa lowered her eyes and said to Krystal indifferently, “You have an uncle as the deputy general manager and a boyfriend as a supervisor. I’m just a small employee. I can’t do anything to you. I don’t know why you are so threatened by me.”
She looked up and down at Lisa and realized that she was wearing dark long clothes and long pants today, and her long hair was neatly tied behind her ears. There was nothing about her appearance that Krystal could rebuke her about. She then scolded unhappily, “There’s just some vixens out here who are jealous of other people’s boyfriends, and want to steal them.”
Krystal did not name Lisa in her statement, but it was undoubtedly meant for her to hear. Lisa was inexplicably called a “Vixen” by her. She did not know what to reply, so she could only keep quiet.
When they got out of the elevator, Krystal saw that Lisa did not retort, and thought that she was feeling guilty, so she became even more proud. She said fiercely in her ear, “You are such a shabby person. If you’re told to reimburse our loss later, you will definitely go bankrupt.”
After saying that, Krystal twisted her waist and walked forward proudly.
The trap that Krystal had dug for her was actually to make her pay! Lisa was shocked and her eyes widened slightly.
It was all her fault for entering the workplace for the first time and stepping into the trap that Krystal had dug for her without knowing anything. Since Krystal’s uncle was the deputy general manager, he would probably give into her.
Forget it. At worst, she would just quit her job and leave!
Now that she had no other choice, Lisa could only follow behind. However, at the entrance of the deputy general manager’s office, Krystal and Lisa were both blocked outside. The secretary said, “The deputy general manager is not in the company right now. If you have something to bring up to him, come again next time.”
“How is that possible! My uncle is usually here at this time!” Krystal’s face was full of shock. She was so anxious that she stomped her feet.
The secretary smiled apologetically and said, “The deputy general manager went to a meeting on behalf of the general manager just now.”
Without her uncle’s support, Krystal could not make Lisa pay. She glared at Lisa fiercely and turned around to leave.
“Wait!” Lisa suddenly called out and stopped Krystal.
Seeing that Krystal wanted to leave instead of going to the general manager, this meant she would not be made to pay if this was brought up to the general manager.
Since that was the case, Lisa felt that rather than letting Krystal continue to bully her, she might as well take a gamble. After all, she had a clear conscience, and Krystal was the one who was guilty!
“Isn’t the general manager here? I heard someone talking inside just now.”
Lisa smiled slightly and looked at the slightly flustered Krystal. She added, “Didn’t you want to find the deputy general manager to get a punishment according to the company’s rules for me? We can go to the general manager instead.”
The secretary also reacted and smiled. “Yes, CEO Song Is free now. If you have anything to bring up, you can talk to her about it.”
