That day, Lisa was sorting out her information when Soyeon suddenly sent her a message asking her to come out.
When she reached the stairs, Soyeon was already waiting for her on the steps.
In order to prevent anyone from accidentally overhearing, the two of them walked down another floor. Soyeon lit a cigarette and said first, “There’s good news. I heard from sister Song that the board of directors has decided to transfer Chen Jin to H City.”
“Transfer?” Lisa was puzzled. Why was Chen Jin suddenly being transferred?
“Yes, Sister Song looked into the changing of our information previously and found some traces. Although the evidence is insufficient, we can confirm that Chen Jin was involved.”
Soyeon exhaled a puff of smoke and looked out of the window. She continued, “However, the most important thing is still the project you brought back.”
Lisa felt a stab in her heart, but she still smiled and said, “The division of power in H City is quite clear. I’m afraid there’s no place for Chen Jin to interfere.”
“No matter what, Chen Jin is an elder of the company. It can be considered as finding a place for him to retire,” Soyeon said with a sneer.
Hearing Soyeon’s words, Lisa burst into laughter. “Knowing that Chen Jin is dumb, he was sent to retire.”
“There’s something I don’t quite understand.” Soyeon looked at the smiling Lisa and relaxed her brows.
“Huh?” Lisa placed her arms on the guardrail and turned her head.
“I heard that someone from above is pressuring people to not let anyone visit Krystal. Then how did Chen Jin know that this matter is related to Lin Peng?”
Lisa frowned slightly. This was indeed a little problematic.
After the conversation with Lin Ye that day, she was certain that the Lin family would protect Lin Peng. In order not to cause a greater impact, the Lin family would naturally cover up the news and remove Lin Peng from this matter.
As for Krystal and Eunbi, logically speaking, it was very likely that Chen Jin heard about the whole matter from Krystal and then threatened the Lin family.
Suddenly, a figure flashed through Lisa’s mind.
“Kai...”
“What?” Soyeon asked.
“Kai came to look for me once before. He was certain that Krystal was arrested because of me, so he came to see me to discuss whether I could let Krystal off.” Lisa frowned as she recalled the conversation she had with Kai that day.
“I seem to have mentioned to him that the reason Krystal was arrested was because she took part in kidnapping me. Could it be that he heard about this and found some clues in A City before he went to look for the Lin Family?”
Soyeon silently flicked her cigarette ash twice. After a moment, she said, “Maybe! Forget it, I don’t want to think about it. If nothing goes wrong, Kai should go with Chen Jin.”
“Oh? So good!”
Lisa’s eyes instantly lit up. This news was the happiest thing in recent times.
Seeing Lisa’s undisguised expression, Soyeon could not help but smile.
“Congratulations! You got rid of a person who harassed you.”
“Same here. This time, you got rid of Chen Jin. This can be considered as you have avenged yourself.”
Lisa mischievously winked at Soyeon. Soyeon’s matter was not considered a secret. There were still some people in the company who knew about it.
Soyeon did not care that someone knew about her past. She smiled lightly and said, “It’s not enough. It will only be counted if we can win this project later.”
“You are really asking for a lot. But no matter what, it’s good news. Shall we go for a drink tonight? My treat.”
Lisa gave an invitation to Soyeon. Soyeon readily agreed.
When she returned to the office, Lisa saw that Jennie kept looking at her, so she walked over.
“What’s wrong, Jennie?”
“Sister Lisa, we didn’t win the project in Jing City. Sister Lisa, can you help me?” Jennie said with a sad face.
Hearing Jennie mention Jing City, Lisa felt a little guilty. She calculated what other unfinished projects she had in her hands and thought for a long time before she picked one out from the corner.
Because the client had a lot of requests and there was no time limit, she was not in a hurry. They could do it together.
“There is one, but the commission is not too high.”
“It’s okay, it’s okay. As long as there is one.”
After saying that, Jennie gave Lisa a bright smile.
Seeing her like this, Lisa returned to her seat and passed the document to her. Jennie received the document very quickly and immediately sent a message to Lisa: “Sister Lisa, you are too good to me. Let me treat you to dinner tonight!”
Thinking of her appointment with Soyeon that night, Lisa replied: “You are welcome. I have an appointment with sister Xu tonight.”

Lisa had a strange feeling when she saw this message, but she could not pinpoint why.
