“Is this an invitation letter to Lin Group’s banquet?”
Lisa took the letter and looked through it. The wax seal on the back of the invitation letter had been completely removed. It was probably not Jennie who opened it, but the invitation letter had been opened before it was delivered.
“Where did you find this?” Soyeon asked Jennie.
“On the ground. I noticed it when I closed the door.”
Lisa’s eyes darkened. “Let’s go check the surveillance cameras.” n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
The three of them went to the front desk of the hotel to explain the situation. The manager didn’t want to help them check the surveillance cameras, but Soyeon was too strong-willed. Only then did the three of them see what had happened. Someone in the uniform of a hotel employee sneakily stuffed the invitation letter into their room through the crack of the door.
The manager called over a personnel to identify this person. However, there were too many hotel employees, and the personnel couldn’t identify who it was at a glance. If they really wanted to find out who it was, they would have to gather everyone and compare them one by one. It would take a lot of time and effort.
Lisa and the other two felt a headache just thinking about it. In the end, this matter was settled after the manager repeatedly promised to discipline the hotel employees better.
“Lisa, who do you think gave this to us?”
Back in the room, Soyeon asked Lisa. When the three of them entered the room this time, they deliberately looked around and did not find anything else.
Actually, Lisa was suspecting Krystal. Did she send her another invitation after hearing that she was not going this morning? But she was not sure.
“It’s hard to say, but someone who sneaks things in like this must have bad intentions.”

“Actually, I have someone I suspect. However, I don’t know why she would do this”
Lisa and Soyeon looked at each other and smiled, knowing each other’s suspicions.
While the two of them were talking, Jennie did not interrupt. It was not until Lisa was lying on the bed and playing with the invitation card that Jennie walked to her side and said, “Lisa, I have something to tell you.”
“Huh? What?” Lisa did not move. Her gaze was still on the thing in her hand.
“Lisa, actually, I know that you are suspecting Krystal. Could it be that she wants to play tricks on you again?”
“Oh?” Lisa’s interest was piqued. Her gaze fell on Jennie, waiting for her to continue.
Jennie looked at the invitation letter and said somewhat embarrassedly, “Lisa, I have never been to such a banquet. Can you let me go this time? Moreover, if Krystal sees that I am the one going, she probably won’t play tricks.”
After sizing up Jennie for a moment, Lisa slightly smiled and said, “Aren’t you afraid? If she really has such bad intentions, you would be jumping into her trap knowing that it is a trap.”
Jennie slightly frowned, as if hesitating. After a while, she said, “I want to go! I want to see more of the world. I don’t want to be invisible like Krystal says.”
Lisa didn’t expect that she would still remember Krystal’s words in the morning. She was slightly stunned.
“Okay! But be careful and follow sister Xu closely.”
“Okay!” Jennie nodded fiercely, the joy in her eyes was beyond words.
When Jennie happily ran to the bathroom to make a phone call, Soyeon walked to Lisa’s side.
“She is an ambitious person. Her thoughts are not pure. You should be more careful.”

Lisa knew that Soyeon was concerned about her, she smiled and said, “Yes, I know, sister Xu. But I don’t hate ambitious people. Without ambition, how can one climb up? Moreover, in the workplace, it’s better to sheme than to be schemed against by others.”
