Chapter 38: Showing Off His Skills

 

 

“Lisa, when your supervisor at work asks you to do something, how can you say no?” Kai said with a faint smile. Krystal was not in the company, so he was more bold in asking her to go with him.

Lisa bit her lips and still refused, “I’m helping CEO Song with something. What is she going to say if I stop doing what she has told me to do, to help you?”

“What do you mean? I just need your help to find some things, why are you involving CEO Song? Lisa, do you not think of yourself as a member of the sales department anymore?” Kai deliberately raised his voice a few degrees. It attracted the attention of the surrounding colleagues.

Hearing the discussions around her, Lisa clenched her fists. However, since she had no evidence of Kai harassing her, she could not explain herself. At this moment, she was in a dilemma.

Seeing that Lisa was in a tough spot, Supervisor Zhou deliberately softened his tone and said, “Let’s go. It won’t take long to just find some information.”

Having said that, Lisa had no other choice. She could only stand up vigilantly and leave with Supervisor Zhou.

She decided that if Supervisor Zhou tried anything funny, she would call her colleagues over and expose his true nature to the company.

However, Kai brought her further and further away from everyone else. He even said, “The warehouse in the company is more remote. We are almost there.”

As he said that, a cunning look flashed across Kai’s eyes. The image of him touching Lisa appeared in his mind.

Lisa had long realized that this wasn’t the route to the warehouse. She secretly turned on her recorder pen and acted as if she did not know his intentions as she replied, “Okay.”

They soon reached the entrance of a passageway that was covered in dust. Very rarely did people come here. Then, Supervisor Zhou stopped his pretence and turned around abruptly. He wanted to hug Lisa. “Lisa, I just know that you must’ve missed me so much...”

Lisa took a few steps back and scolded, “Supervisor Zhou! What will happen if Krystal finds out that you’re doing this?”

“She won’t find out. I’ve already cheated on her many times. You’re next. Hehehe.” Kai laughed lewdly and took a few more steps forward, teasing Lisa.

Lisa turned around and entered the passageway. Looking at the long flights of stairs below, she said, “If I call someone over, your reputation will be ruined.”

Kai laughed out loud and did not stop his footsteps from approaching Lisa. He said smugly, “Call them then. Look, when they come, they will only call you an indecent whore.”

“Why can’t you just listen to me? I will make you feel very good.” Kai looked at Lisa’s chest even though she was wearing a business suit and almost drooled.

At this moment, Lisa was already at the edge of the stairs. She secretly clenched the box cutter in her palm and was about to stab Kai when something unexpected happened.

A leg suddenly appeared and kicked Kai’s waist, sending him flying to the wall.

Lisa was shocked and turned to look. Taehyung  clapped his hands and cursed, “Damned hooligan.”

Then, Taehyung  grinned and said to Lisa, “I look cool, right?”

He was going down the stairs when he saw a man harassing Lisa. How could he just ignore the situation? He rushed down and kicked the wretched man away.

If Jeon Jungkook knew that he had saved Lisa, wouldn’t he be even more grateful to him?

Kai, who had been kicked away, had fallen to the ground. His head had unfortunately hit the wall, and he was crying out in pain.

Lisa looked at Taehyung  who had suddenly appeared and was a little speechless. She put the box cutter back into her pocket and asked, “Why are you here?”

Taehyung  scratched his head and said, “I’m here for business.”

“Then why didn’t you take the elevator? Why did you take such a remote staircase?” Lisa frowned.

“I just wanted to walk a little, can’t I? Didn’t I just save you?” Taehyung  was worried that Lisa would not believe his excuse, so he deliberately showed Lisa a muscle-flexing action.

The corners of Lisa’s mouth twitched. She thought to herself that Taehyung ’s body was nothing compared to Jungkook’s.

“Okay, Lisa. You go ahead first. I’m not done with him yet.” Taehyung  patted his chest and said.

Although he was suspicious, under Taehyung ’s repeated persuasion, Lisa left and went back to her work station.

Taehyung  wasn’t able to take some pictures of Lisa working, as he wanted. However, he was able to take a few photos of Lisa’s back as she left. He also took a few photos of the lewd man and sent them to Jeon Jungkook.

His caption was: Today, I showed off my skills and subdued the hooligan who was harassing Lisa. I did good right?

After sending the photos, Taehyung  squatted down beside Supervisor Zhou who was lying on the ground. He smiled evilly and said, “Damn hooligan, how shameless. How dare you touch Lisa? Guess what I am going to do to you now?”
