Lisa stopped wiping the blood off of Jungkook. Then, she saw Jungkook look outside and say, "He's from the village, he's my... friend."

As they walked out of the house, they saw that it was indeed Soobin outside. As soon as he saw Jungkook coming out, Soobin shouted, "Oh my God! Did you kill someone? There's so much blood on you!"

Jungkook replied helplessly, "No, I just chased them away."

Hearing this, Soobin sucked in a breath of cold air and exclaimed, "It's over! The uncle of the hooligan boss is an official in the city! They will definitely take revenge on you!"

Then, Lisa walked out and looked at Soobin in confusion.

Soobin looked at Lisa's appearance and swallowed his saliva. His voice became even sharper as he shouted, "Moreover, seeing that Lisa is so pretty, they will definitely not give up so easily!"

Jungkook frowned and his face darkened.

He was just thinking of sending people to deal with those hooligans privately to avoid any future trouble. He had forgotten about Soobin.

If something happened to the hooligans after they caused trouble at his house, he would be the number one suspect. Plus, because of Soobin's gossiping personality, he would definitely be found out.

Moreover, after this fight, the hooligans who were beaten up would definitely suspect that he wasn't the real Jungkook. If word got out, his enemies would also come looking for him.

Thinking of this, Jungkook was also in a bit of a dilemma.

Seeing Jungkook's ugly expression, an idea flashed through Soobin's mind, and he quickly said, "I have an idea!"

Lisa and Jungkook looked at him in confusion. Soobin adjusted his glasses and pretended to be profound, "As long as you two move out of here temporarily, the hooligans won't be able to find you guys and take revenge!"

After considering it for a while, Jungkook finally decided to hide in the city with Lisa to avoid anymore trouble.

The two of them packed their luggage that night. After hearing that Granny Liu was the one who rushed to inform Jungkook that she was in danger, Lisa insisted on going to her house to thank her.

With a few chickens, ducks, and some fish, meat, and fruits, Lisa found Granny Liu and thanked her solemnly.

It was already dark. There was a small oil lamp on the table in front of Granny Liu's house. Under the dim yellow light, Granny Liu patted Lisa's head kindly and said with a smile, "No worries. I'm glad that I could help you."

Lisa was a little moved. Looking at the old woman's gentle face, she was moved and said, "Granny Liu, we will be moving to the city tomorrow. Please take good care of yourself."

Granny Liu looked at Lisa carefully and said slowly, "You are a blessed child. You will definitely have a good life in the future. Do your best."

"Yes, yes!"

After saying goodbye to Granny Liu, Lisa called her best friend in the city, Jisoo.

Jisoo was her university classmate. The two of them were always together in university. After graduation, Jisoo stayed in the city to work.

If they were to move to the city, Jungkook would definitely not have any connections. It was up to Lisa to contact her friends.

The moment the call connected, Lisa told Jisoo about what had happened to her in the past few days after she got married. She was furious. "Jungkook, that scumbag. Why did he not go back to the Mo family house together with you? As a result, you were bullied by Eunbi. I'm so angry!"

"Calm down, Jisoo. He has his own problems as well." Lisa smiled and tried to calm her down.

It was not easy to coax her. After Lisa asked Jisoo if she could help her find a house and a job, Jisoo let out a faint sigh. "Lisa, why did you marry such a person? He has no money nor power. Sigh."

Lisa walked all the way to the door of her house. When she saw Jungkook focused on his work, she curled her lips and said, "He's pretty great, but he just isn't lucky. Jisoo, I'll leave this matter to you.".

"Alright, no problem. Jungkook better make you happy, or I'll go beat him up!" Jisoo agreed.

"Okay, bye bye." Lisa hung up the phone and walked into the room.

Soon, Lisa received a message from Jisoo, saying that an affordable rental house had been found, and it was not far from the city centre.

After receiving the good news, Lisa hurriedly told Jungkook, saying that they could move in immediately.

"So soon?" Jungkook was stunned.

He had originally wanted to ask his assistant to pick a house for them, and then think of a good reason for why they were able to live there. He did not expect Lisa to settle it in one night.

"Hehe, it's all thanks to my best friend." Lisa was in a good mood and even stuck her tongue out playfully.

Since it was Lisa who picked the house, Jungkook had no objections. He smiled as he looked at Lisa's yearning expression.
