Chapter 155: Investigate the Mo Family

In the afternoon, Lisa had something to do at the company and needed to leave. Jungkook  went to Taehyung’s office.

The people in the Jade shop knew that this was young master Qin’s friend, so they immediately led him to Taehyung’s office.

“Come in.”

After the secretary knocked on the door, Jungkook  heard lazy words.

Taehyung thought that it was a customer, so he pretended to drink tea. When he saw Jungkook , Taehyung’s forehead twitched. He hadn’t seen Jeon Justin recently.

He waved his hand to dismiss the secretary. Taehyung saw Jungkook  pick up the teapot in front of him and pour himself a cup of tea out of habit.

“Fourth master Jeon, how did you know I was back in C City?”

“Du Jing called me right after you left.”

When he found out the reason, Taehyung immediately cursed Du Jing in his heart.

“Fourth master Jeon, what do you want this time?” Taehyung asked helplessly.

Jungkook  glanced at Taehyung. “Can’t I come to see you without any reason?”

Taehyung’s eyes widened at this answer. Why would Jeon Justin think of him when he had nothing to do? Usually, he would either give orders to his subordinates or hang out with Lisa. Why would he think of him?

Taehyung thought about it and said, “Why would a busy man like you think of me when you have nothing to do? Do you really have nothing for me to do today?”

“I didn’t, but seeing your disappointment, I thought of something.”

Jungkook ’s teasing of Taehyung was accurate, and Taehyung’s face instantly fell.

“I knew it. You have something for me to do.”

Taehyung’s mournful face made Jungkook  laugh.

“Help me look into the Mo family.”

“Ah? Haven’t you already looked into them?”

Taehyung’s face was full of disdain. It would be demeaning to have him look into such a small family.

“I’m talking about matters from more than ten years ago, Mo Dong and his ex-wife,” Jungkook  said calmly.

Taehyung almost spat out a mouthful of tea. What was Jeon Justin doing? He previously investigated Lisa. Now, he even wanted to look into her mother? Was he going to investigate everyone in the Mo family?

Facing Taehyung’s strange gaze, Jungkook  was also a little embarrassed. He coughed lightly and said, “Yesterday, Eunbi went to cause trouble with Lisa and dug up old grudges. I’m a little curious.”

“Oh, if you’re curious, then go and investigate! Are you curious about the space satellite? Find someone to send you there to take a look?”

Taehyung had been ordered around by Jungkook  recently, and his mouth became more and more cheeky.

Jungkook  looked at Taehyung coldly, and Taehyung shivered from the cold, he quickly tried to remedy the situation, “Brother Jeon, you may be curious, but you still have to leave some privacy for sister-in-law, right? You want to investigate and let sister-in-law have no secrets at all? How can you give people a sense of security?”

“Sense of security?” Jungkook  did not understand. He wanted to know everything about Lisa so that he could deal with any emergencies in the future and protect her.

Taehyung thought for a moment and said, “Let’s look at it from another angle! Let’s say that if sister-in-law knew everything about you, whether it was good or bad, what would you think?”

“There’s nothing that I can’t let her know,” Jungkook  said with a frown.

Taehyung carefully recalled everything about Jeon Justin and suddenly could not help but sigh.

From a young age, his family background was outstanding and his grades were excellent. Sighing, Taehyung said, “Do you want sister-in-law to know what happened to you in your third year?”

“To let you feel the feeling of being spied on.”

Jungkook  did not speak. His pair of cold eyes looked at Taehyung. Taehyung swallowed his saliva and laughed dryly. “Haha, this time, you probably don’t want to investigate sister-in-law anymore, right?”

Seeing that the atmosphere was a little awkward, Jungkook  retracted his gaze and lowered his eyes. “Investigate.”

“Ah?”

Taehyung thought that after pouring out his heart and soul to tell Jungkook  so much, Jungkook  would not insist, but who would have thought..

“I’m not investigating Lisa, I’m investigating Mo Dong.”

With that, Jungkook  stood up and left, not giving Taehyung the slightest chance to refuse. Just as the door closed, Taehyung’s wail came from inside the room.
