After returning home, after having dinner, Lisa started to search for information on the Lin family in Jing City.
Rows and rows of words appeared, making Lisa’s heart skip a beat. She recalled what Krystal had said beside her over and over again.
‘Lisa, aren’t you curious why CEO Song is sending you?’
That’s right! Why was CEO Song sending her? A newbie who didn’t have the qualifications to sign a contract alone? What could she possibly bring to the table?

Lisa nodded. She was starting to doubt the decision she made.

Jungkook, on the other hand, was thinking differently from Lisa. He was thinking more about the dangers of this project. The Lin family was not as clean as they looked on the surface. Was there something hidden in the land that was being sold?
“Jungkook, what’s wrong?” Lisa asked when she saw that Jungkook did not speak for a long time.
Jungkook touched Lisa’s hair and said gently, “I was wondering if I could go with you.”
“Ah?” Lisa’s mouth opened wide, and the bad thoughts in her mind flew away instantly.
The exaggerated expression made Jungkook laugh, “Your mouth can hold an egg.”
Hearing what Jungkook said, Lisa instantly covered her mouth and said through the gaps between her fingers, “No!”
Then she blinked her big eyes at Jungkook and said, “You want to go with me! But the company won’t let you.”
“I’ll pay for it myself.” Jungkook was touched by Lisa’s cute look and said with a smile.
“Pay for it...” Lisa’s expression changed from surprise to distress. The expenses in the capital city were very high. Even though he said that he would pay for it himself, she would be the one giving him the money. Who knew how much money she would have left after paying off her debt next month.
Although Jungkook could guess what she was thinking, he still said to Lisa, “Don’t you want me to go with you? Or do you...”
Jungkook made a bitter expression as he spoke and glanced at Lisa’s computer screen. On it was the news of the young master of the Lin family.

“Taehyung , do you know about the Lin family’s recent real estate deal?”
