On the second day in Jing City, Lisa and Jennie started to get busy.

According to their plan, Lisa and Jennie left the hotel at around seven o’clock. They thought that it was a good idea to leave at that time, but...

“Lisa, how long will the traffic jam last?” Jennie said to Lisa with a mournful face.

Lisa was also quite dumbfounded. Seeing that the meter was beating non-stop, she could feel her heart bleeding.

“Guoguo, from what I remember, taxi fees during our business trip should be reimbursed!”

Although Lisa remembered that there was such a rule, if the taxi fare was too high, the company might think that she was lying about it!

Glancing at the meter, Jennie said hesitantly, “It must be reimbursed!”

After waiting for a while, the car was finally able to move. Lisa asked the driver to drop them off at the nearest bus stop, and the two of them took the bus to their destination.

The location of Lin Group’s real estate project was rather remote, so the two of them still needed to walk a bit more after getting off the bus. They heard that it was because of the good feng shui here that Lin Group decided to develop a mid-to high-end villa area here.

It was already close to 10 o’clock when the two of them started working.

In the Jeon Group building located in the most prosperous area of Jing City, Jungkook was sitting behind his desk listening to his subordinates’ reports.

During the few months that he had been away, although he had given instructions to his subordinates remotely, there were still some things that he needed to personally deal with.

“Fourth Master, before you left, Second Master had wanted to interfere with the Board of Directors’ elections and the bidding for new projects.”

“Okay.” Jungkook gently rubbed his temples and responded.

After his call with Lisa last night, Jungkook had drunk quite a lot with the bunch of them.

They did not care about their image as heirs. First, it was beer, then red wine, and finally white wine. Even Jungkook, who thought that he would never get drunk, could not take it anymore.

As for Taehyung , he was a chatterbox. When he was drunk, he would tell everyone everything. He even asked Jungkook how it felt to have a wife.

It would be a good time for Jungkook to talk to Uncle Qin about finding Taehyung  a wife.

“Jeon Jungkook! What did I do to offend you? Why did you call me here in the morning. My head hurts!”

The person who spoke was none other than Taehyung , whom Jungkook had been thinking about. He lay on the sofa in Jungkook’s office, half-dead and wailing.

Jungkook ignored him and continued to let his subordinates report.

“There’s no news from third uncle?”

“No.” Just as he replied, his subordinate seemed to have thought of something that he had missed out on. “One month after your accident, Third Master and Old Master had a private conversation. No one knows the details of what they talked about.”

“Okay.”

Before Jungkook could say anything, Taehyung  interrupted.

“Private conversation? What? Jeon Jungkook, is your third uncle trying to stir up trouble again?”

As he spoke, Taehyung  sauntered over to Jungkook’s desk. He drank the coffee in front of Jungkook in one gulp and continued, “If it were up to me, your third uncle would be in trouble.”

Seeing that Taehyung  was chattering non-stop, his subordinates looked at Jungkook. Jungkook frowned and asked his men to leave.

“How much did you drink last night?”

Jungkook asked casually. He did not expect Taehyung  to actually recall it in detail.

“11 or 12 bottles of beer, red... I can’t remember. White... I can’t remember either.”

Jungkook held his forehead. He now felt that Taehyung  was even more unreliable.

“How’s the task I gave you going?” Jungkook asked.

Although he wanted to let Lisa learn how to handle her problem alone, he could still help her with small things.

Taehyung  used his slow brain to think. “Oh! Are you talking about those stupid women, Eunbi?”

“They’ve been dealt with. The video evidence is sufficient. They’ll be locked up for a few days and have to write a self-reflection. After they’re released, they’ll apologize to sister-in-law one by one. Is that alright?”

Although it was a question, Taehyung  felt that it was enough.

However, Jungkook still felt that it was not enough. Every time he thought of Lisa’s crying face that day, his heart would ache.

Jungkook glanced at Taehyung  indifferently and did not continue talking about this topic.

“Help me investigate the Deputy General Manager of Hong Jing.”

“Investigate him? What did he do to your mistress?” Taehyung  asked improperly. A company of Hong Jing’s scale was really not worthy of Jungkook’s attention. Therefore, every time Jungkook brought up Hong Jing, it would be related to Lisa.

As soon as Taehyung  finished speaking, he saw Jungkook’s cold gaze. His eyes were cold.

“Eh, my bad. Hehe, I mean sister-in-law.”

After hearing Taehyung ’s change of words, Jungkook retracted his gaze.

However, it was also because of these drunken words that Jungkook suddenly realized that for someone of Jeon Jungkook’s status, Lisa’s current situation was still a little tricky.

“The data that Lisa brought to Jing City was ruined by someone else. I think it was the Deputy General Manager of Hong Jing who did it.”
