Oh, boy howdy, how long was it since the release of season 5? Before the house fire? Yeah, 8 months ago, in March. Ever since then, we all know Rooster Teeth isn't around anymore. I was meaning to release a reboot of this story when season 5 came out, but you know.. house fire.
Enough excuses, let's be real, we are too old for this kid. If Erid is 13-14, that is an especial oh no looking back at Harrison. That's why I'm making a sequel! One where both characters are very of age. Not just because it's weird for a 17-year-old to write a romance scene containing a possible 11-year-old, but because there are other avenues I think the dynamic of these two could undergo outside of camp. Get them some jobs and mortgages and other adult stuff, slap 'em in a new setting, boom, new content! Anyways, this is an except from my sequel Cheer for the Weird:
I clap softly. He begins a small routine. Cards, coins, ball in a cup, stuff like that. After about 20 seconds, I go to pull out my wallet. "Hey, wait, where'd my wallet go?". I look up. The magician looks at me. I can see a small bead of sweat on his face. "Give it back."
"Whaaaaat? Give what back? I didn't steal anything."
"You're an awful liar for someone who's side hustle is tricking people."
He shoots his hand into the air, holding a smoke bomb. He throws it to the ground. I go to tackle him. I make contact just before the bomb hits the ground. I tackle him so hard, we are sent out of the range of the smoke. I go for his hand and snatch my wallet back from him. I stuff it in my sweater pocket before turning back to him. My legs straddled the sides of his chest as my hands go for his neck. He pulls out a jab and hits me in the jaw. He manages to push me aside and runs away.
I hold my face as I watch him run off. I stand up. I need to get something to eat.
