Chapter 4

Breanna POV
I stood there speechless.

"I would love too! But I have to see what the rest of the band says." I said as we walked backstage.

"SCOTT! Where have you been?" The man with fringe said. "Breanna?"

"Hey...." I said sort of hiding behind Scott. I held on to his sleeve out of habit.

"Yeah I told Breanna to meet us backstage because she seemed pretty cool." Scott said grabbing my hand noticing I was intimidated.

"Hey Breanna I'm Mitch! I don't think we formally met." Mitch said.

"Mitch you remember the band stream from the season of the sing off before ours?" Scott asked still holding on to my hand.

"Of course their arrangements and voices were amazing!" He said.

"Well Breanna was apart of that band." Scott said pulling me next to him.

"You have been famous your whole life omg!" Mitch said as I laughed.

"I wouldn't say I'm famous....." I said looking at the ground and putting my other hand on Scott's forearm.

"Scott! Mitch! Kirstie is super sick." Avi said.

We all ran to Kirstie to see if she was fine. Where is Sofia when we need her.

Once we got to Kirstie she just finished throwing up in the toilet. She stumbled over to the couch and crashed. She tried to speak but her voice was shot. She fell asleep right away looking super pail.

"What if she isn't better by tomorrow?" The man I never learned the name of said.

"I don't know Kevin..... We may have to cancel the show." Scott said.

"Wait....." Mitch started. "What about Breanna." He suggested.

Everyone turned to look at me. I looked behind me to make sure there wasn't some other random Breanna they were friends with. As I looked back they started to plea.

"Breanna please we need you." Mitch started.

"Please we can't cancel the show our fans would be devastated." Avi said.

"But once they see me instead of Kirstie they will be devastated..." I started.

"Breanna please....?" Scott said taking my hands in his. I looked around at all of them......

"Of course." I said smiling. "Ok well I'm going to go call the rest of the band, I will be right back." I said walking out of the room.

I was going to call sammy first but I remembered that he was waiting back at my apartment.

I called Bre. She answered and once I told her the news she panicked and hung up. I called Caleb and told him about it and also told him what happened with Bre so he could check up on her. Then I called Aislyn and she was super excited.

"Omg of course! My vlogs are going to be amazing!!" She said as we hung up.

I texted Sammy and told him that I would meet him at the apartment in a bit.

"I'm back did you miss me?" I questioned as I walked in the room.

"Of course we did you little bundle of joy!" Mitch said as I giggled.

"Okay so let's learn these parts shall we?" I said sitting down next to Scott.

We practiced for a few hours and I had all of the songs/ parts memorized for the show.

"How did you pick that up so easily?!?" Kevin and Avi questioned surprised.

"I was in an a Capella group all throughout high school, And I'm on Broadway. We have to know our lines, songs, and choreography all in a week before previews." I said laughing.
