Chapter 3 - Totally Divas

Paul Levesque- "I should probably just get the women together and test them collectively to try and speed this along I don't have a lot of time left."

Paul looked at his watch which read 11pm which meant he had just thirty minutes left to see all the women who wanted a job in NXT. They all wandered in one by one until there were about 40 of them in the room.

Paul Levesque- "Good evening ladies, I know that this is very rushed but since we don't have a lot of time to spare we will be doing something very special. We will put all of you in the ring for an impromptu over-the-top-rope battle royal with the winner receiving a contract and will be signed to NXT. I'm guessing you all know the rules?"

All Women- "Yes!"

Paul Levesque- "Then let's get this started!"

One by one the girls were eliminated until it came down to two. A tanned,  brown haired girl called Nikki Bella who was very beautiful and a girl who looked so different from any girl that you have ever seen in your life. She had jet-black hair and skin so pale she looked ghost like. Her name was Paige Bevis.

The two girls had a mini-match within the battle royal. Their one versus one battle lasted an impressive five minutes. They fought back and forth until Nikki attempted to powerbomb Paige over the ropes but Paige was able to counter with a hurricanrana and flipped herself and Nikki over the top rope. Both girls hit the floor and both girls thought they had won but they were mistaken. As they weren't the last two. The rules were if you were put over the top rope with both feet hitting the floor you were eliminated. One girl had been kicked under the bottom rope and lay there the whole match. This girl was a small, geeky, nerdy girl from New Jersey. Her name was AJ Lee. AJ screamed when she realised that she was the last diva standing. AJ would be signed to NXT.

Paul Levesque- "Congratulations AJ, you are officially signed to NXT."

Paige and Nikki hadn't taken their eyes off each other since they had hit the floor outside of the ring. Paul looked at Paige and Nikki.

Paul Levesque- "You two can come to my office for a quick chat. Don't worry you've did nothing wrong and you are not in trouble."

Paul walked to his office and Nikki and Paige followed. They all sat down in chairs provided in Paul's office.

Paul Levesque- "Girls, that performance was exactly why I wanted to do this job. To see rookies put on spectacular performances. I'd like to trial both of you in a match at the next NXT Takeover special event. It'll be held in the NXT arena so it's very near by. Now you need to understand that you don't have official contracts with the company but if your match goes well I will strongly consider you guys for NXT."

Paige Bevis- "So would we be wrestling on the main card because that wouldn't make sense since no one knows our build-up or why we are there?"

Paul Levesque- "No you'd open up the show but it would be non-televised so the viewers at home wouldn't know the match was happening."

Nikki Bella- "Ok I'm up for it are you Paige?"

Paige Bevis- "Yep I'm down with the plan."

Paul Levesque- "Ok then I'll stay in contact with you girls. Collect your things and I'll give you more info closer to the event."

Paige Bevis and Nikki Bella- "Thank you!"

Paige and Nikki walked out of Paul's office happy with what had occurred today.

Paige Bevis- "Hey since we will be wrestling and training together a lot as it seems do you wanna be friends?"

Nikki Bella- "It would be an honour best pal."

The girls hugged and walked their different ways home.

Authors Note: Three women got contracts instead of just the one as originally planned. What more can happen from here?
