Chapter 9 - The Aftermath

Sunday -7/1/17- It was now Sunday, the day after the rookies went to the mall. Seth Rollins met a blonde girl and they walked out of the mall holding hands. That was the last time that Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns saw him that night.

Dean and Roman met in the buildings cafe along with Paige and AJ. They ordered breakfast and sat at the same table and had a small conversation about their favourite wrestlers.

Dean Ambrose- "I don't really have one wrestler who's my favourite. I'll give you a different answer every day."

Roman Reigns- "For some reason I always liked The Rock."

Then Seth walked into the room. Looked around. Spotted the group and walked over.

Paige Bevis- "Seth, we heard that you went home with a lady last night. Would this be true?."

Ambrose started laughing to himself.

Seth Rollins- "Yes that would be true."

AJ Lee- "So where is she?"

Seth Rollins- "You know what, I have no idea."

Roman Reigns- "Well what did you guys do when you left the mall."

<Flashback to last night>

Blonde Girl- "So where do you live?"

Seth Rollins- "Oh it's an apartment complex about a twenty minute walk from here."

Blonde Girl- "Ok I really like walking."

Seth and the girl walked back to the apartments. They went by the grocery shop when a burglar ran out with a black bag.

Seth Rollins- "I'll stop him!!

Then out of no where a pedestrian kicked the burglar in the face.

Blonde Girl- "That was impressive where do you live."

Man- "About two minutes away. Do you wanna come see my house?"

Blonde Girl- "Absolutely."

Seth Rollins- "What the hell just happened here!"

<Flashforward to present day>

Seth Rollins- "Um ... she proposed and I said no."

Dean Ambrose- "Good call brother marriage is a bunch of baloney if you ask me."

AJ Lee- "It has it's pros and cons."

Roman Reigns- "So where did she go after you said no to her proposal."

Seth Rollins- "I don't know. Probably went for a walk."

Paige Bevis- "Also what did you do after she left."

Seth Rollins- "I went to bed and nothing happened after that."

Paige Bevis- "Sounds like fun."

The rookies finished their breakfast and left the cafeteria. Paige and AJ went to Nikki's room while Seth, Dean and Roman went to Roman's room to chill just one day before their training starts.  They talked for hours between the three of them about what they expected the training to be like and what the future could potentially hold for them in NXT/WWE.

Roman Reigns- "I'm actually really looking forward to training tomorrow."

Seth Rollins- "Yeah, same here. It'll be really fun training with you guys."

Dean Ambrose- "Yeah I hope we just dive right in and start out hard hitting."

Seth Rollins- "Thinking about going right in to it, we should probably get rest so that we will be fresh and ready for it."

Roman Reigns- "Yeah I'll see you guys tomorrow morning."

Seth and Dean left Roman Reigns' room and went back to their own but talked to Paige and AJ who had just came out of Nikki's room.

Dean Ambrose- "Hey guys what's up?"

Paige Bevis- "We were just checking on Nikki. She seems upset for some reason so we were trying to help. Do any of you guys know why?"

Dean Ambrose- "Not a clue do you know anything Seth?"

Seth Rollins- "No I don't know."

Seth however was lying.

Paige Bevis- "Ok, well we're going to sleep. See you guys tomorrow morning?"

Dean Ambrose- "You know it."

Authors Note- Why is Seth lying? What could he be hiding? Does he know why Nikki is upset?
