Chapter 23 - Tonights The Night Pt.3

It was Roman, Dean and Seth who arrived at the arcade first.

They took a quick look around a couple of machines to see if they could get some cheap wins while they waited for the girls to get there.

They sat at a table and talked amongst themselves.

Seth Rollins- "So what time did the girls say they would get here?"

Roman Reigns- "They didn't say. I'll text Nikki and ask her where she is."

Roman texted Nikki to see where she was.

Dean Ambrose- "I'm taking a piss."

Dean got up and went to the bathroom leaving Seth and Roman alone. Seth was sweating now.

Roman Reigns- "Hey man just relax. Everything is going to be fine. She is going to say yes."

Seth Rollins- "I'm not sure that she will."

Roman Reigns- "What do you mean?"

Seth Rollins- "Well earlier on when we got out of my room we talked about the conversation me, you and Dean had about her. I asked her to start things fresh and she said yeah."

Roman Reigns- "That would of been great information to know before we did this."

Seth Rollins- "What's the big deal if I don't ask her out."

Roman Reigns- "Ok I'm going to be straight with you man. Me and Nikki set up a plan to get you and AJ together and in the process get Paige to distract Dean while we set it up."

Seth Rollins- "Why did you do that behind my back?"

Roman Reigns- "Well you obviously want to be with her so I tried to help you out."

Seth Rollins- "So who actually knows about your plan?"

Roman Reigns- "Well me and Nikki came up with it and for it to work we had to tell Paige but AJ and Dean don't know."

Dean then walked in just to hear the tail end of Roman talking.

Dean Ambrose- "Dean doesn't know what?"

Seth Rollins- "Dean doesn't know my favourite wrestler."

Dean Ambrose- "Shawn Michaels."

Seth Rollins- "Damn you do know it."

Dean and Seth then talked about their other favourite wrestlers when the girls walked in. Seth immediately looked at AJ. Paige was making sure that Dean was there so that she could distract him. Nikki and Paige didn't know that the plan wasn't going ahead.

They all greeted each other and sat down in a booth. Paige and Dean were talking quietly whilst the others had a bigger conversation.

Dean Ambrose- "So are you competitive at all?"

Paige Bevis- "Hey I'm good at a lot of things so I've got to be competitive. I love to shoot pool. Growing up in Norwich there were a lot of arcades and pubs with pool tables so I would go there quite a lot and play my brothers. I got to the point where I was really good."

Dean Ambrose- "I don't think you could beat me."

Paige Bevis- "Really because I'm ready to go right now."

Dean Ambrose- "Let's do it."

Paige and Dean got up from the table. Dean took off his leather jacket, threw it behind him and put his game face on. Dean went to the table to set it up. Paige nudged Nikki.

Paige Bevis- "I've got Dean distracted. Take it from here."

Paige went over to the pool table which Dean had set up.

Paige Bevis- "You can break."

Dean Ambrose- "Alright."

Dean took his first shot and the game was underway.

Back at the booth Roman was taking to AJ about relationships.

Roman Reigns- "So are you looking for anyone at the minute or are you taking a break from dating?"

AJ Lee- "I would like to have someone to date but no one has asked me out. I've actually only had one boyfriend in my life so I'm incredibly open."

Roman glanced at Seth. AJ didn't see him do that though.

Roman Reigns- "Hey Nikki can I talk to you in private."

Nikki Bella- "Sure."

Nikki and Roman went where none of the other rookies could hear them.

Roman Reigns- "Seth was telling me that AJ was talking to him about what Seth said when you guys were standing outside our room. You heard him say screw AJ, Dean is more important so Seth asked to start on a clean slate so now the two are back to square one so Seth doesn't want to ask her out."

Nikki Bella- "I can't believe we failed. I thought we had this whole thing covered and that we would get the two together."

Roman Reigns- "I know. We will just have to keep trying."

Nikki and Roman went back to the table and went by Dean and Paige. Paige was about to hit her shot

Dean Ambrose- "Oh Paige remember not to miss the ball."

Paige missed her ball.

Paige Bevis- "Stop doing that."

Roman and Nikki didn't sit at the table though.

Roman Reigns- "Seth and AJ, it's time to head home."

Seth Rollins- "Ok."

Seth, Nikki, AJ and Roman all walked to the pool table where Dean and Paige were playing at.

Seth Rollins- "So who's stripes and who's colours?"

Paige Bevis- "I'm colours."

Dean had one ball left to pot until he could go for the black. So did Paige.

Paige put her ball into the middle pocket. She tried for the black but missed.

Paige Bevis- "Shit, oh no I'm going to lose."

Dean smiled, chalked up his cue for the final time and took his shot. He potted his last ball. Both were on the black but since Dean got one in he had the next shot.

Seth Rollins- "This is close."

Paige knew that she was going to lose to she used the greatest weapon she had. Her sex appeal.

Just as Dean was about to hit the white ball Paige grabbed him and kissed him. His cue tapped the white ball meaning his shot was over.

Whilst Dean was recovering from the kiss Paige took her shot and got it in.

Paige Bevis- "Hell yeah, in your face Dean I knew I could beat you."

Dean Ambrose- "Cheating to win? I respect that. Good game."

Dean put his hand out for a handshake and Paige shook his hand.

Dean Ambrose- "Let's head."

The rookies walked home to the apartments to get some sleep. Tomorrow was Sunday so they had a day to recover before going back to training on Monday.

Authors Note: Seth and AJ don't seem to be getting together anytime soon. Roman and Nikki aren't giving up though and surely will think of a new plan. Also Paige kissed Dean. Was that just to win the game or were there further intentions their?
