Chapter 37 - Meet The Parents

Seth Rollins got up from his desk, everything was put in place for his date with AJ. All he had to do was ask AJ to go on the date with him.

He walked to AJ's room and knocked on her door.

Seth Rollins- "AJ! AJ! Are you there? I need to ask you something."

Seth didn't get a response so he went to Paige's room to see if Paige knew anything about where AJ was. He then knocked on Paige's door.

Seth Rollins- "Paige! Paige!"

Paige answered the door.

Paige Bevis- "Why are you so loud at this time in the morning Seth?"

Seth Rollins- "It's nine forty-five in the morning but anyway, do you know where AJ is?"

Paige Bevis- "Is she not in her room?"

Seth Rollins- "No I knocked her door and shouted on her but got no answer."

Paige Bevis- "Ok I'll grab a hoody, you go get Ambrose and we will go find her."

Seth Rollins- "Great idea."

Seth went to Dean's room to get him. After being able to persuade Dean to get up and help him look for AJ, Seth went back to get Paige.

The three went downstairs to look in the cafe for AJ but couldn't find her.

Paige Bevis- "She might be in the toilet. You guys can't come in so just wait here."

Paige went into the toilet while Seth and Dean stood waiting on her.

Seth Rollins- "This looks weird, us two standing outside a women's toilet."

Dean Ambrose- "Well it's not my first time doing this. One time when I needed to get cigarettes there was a women going to the toilet and I asked her to get me them. Just to preface this was at a bar. The cigarette machine was mounted on the wall of the toilets and the men's room had ran out. So anyway she comes back with a pack and hands it to me but it wasn't cigarettes. It was a rubbery, lubricated co.."

Paige Bevis- "Nope no sign of AJ"

Seth Rollins- "Damn I am never going to find her."

Dean Ambrose- "You might not but I will, look outside."

Seth and Paige ran to the front door of the complex to see AJ talking to two people. An older man and an older women.

Paige Bevis- "That women looks like AJ."

Seth Rollins- "Oh my god. I think that's her parents."

Dean Ambrose- "You're meeting her parents? Dude that is a commitment. You are stuck in this relationship now and never getting out unless you start running now. Quick go out the fire exit."

Seth Rollins- "Dean, I want to meet her parents and get to know them if I'm going to date AJ. This could be good for our relationship."

Paige Bevis- "Or it could jeopardise it."

AJ and her parents started walking towards the apartments.

Seth Rollins- "They are getting closer, run! Run!"

Dean Ambrose- "I told you to run and you told me it was a bad idea."

Paige, Seth and Dean ran up the stairs just as AJ and her parents got through the door. They ran along floor 2, the floor that they stayed on, and made it to Seth's room. They shut the door and stayed quiet. They could hear AJ and her parents walking by and talking.

AJ Lee- "It is amazing here, you guys should meet my friends."

AJ knocked on the door. Dean, Seth and Paige were conflicted whether to answer it or not.

Seth Rollins(whisper)- "I'm opening it."

Seth got up to open the door and Dean grabbed his leg. Seth fell forward and his hand hit the door handle, making the door slowly swing open.

AJ and her parents saw Seth on the floor and Dean grasping his leg.

Dean Ambrose- "Hey... what's up?"

AJ Lee- "Ok then. Mom, dad, meet Dean, Seth and Paige."

Paige Bevis- "It is really nice to meet you guys. AJ always talks about how she's missing you guys and her home and your cooking."

Mrs Lee- "It's very nice to meet you Paige. I love your accent."

Dean Ambrose- "Well since you guys are all happy-clappy I can go right?"

Mr Lee- "You must be Dean. From what AJ has said about you, you seem like a real wildcard."

Dean Ambrose- "Your damn right. Anyway great to meet you Mrs Lee. Mr Lee nice bald spot. I'll see you guys around. Paige I need to talk to you."

Paige got up and followed Dean out of the room. They went along to Dean's room and Dean shut the door.

Paige Bevis- "So what is it you wanted to talk about?"

Dean Ambrose- "Nothing, I just wanted to get Seth alone time with AJ and her parents."

Paige Bevis- "Ohhhh, you are one smart bastard."

Dean just smiled, nodded and winked.

Meanwhile back in Seth's room, Seth was getting to know AJ's parents. A very difficult subject of conversation occurred, which in his head Seth was dreading. The one question that would make it or break it.

Mrs Lee- "So are you and AJ dating or are you two just friends?"

Seth didn't know what to say or what to do but was shocked by AJ's answer.

AJ Lee- "Mom, we are just really good friends, right Seth."

Again Seth didn't know what to say. He felt as if someone had punched a hole in his chest and ripped his heart out.

Seth Rollins- "Um... yeah, just friends."

Seth smiled a fake smile. AJ didn't want to come clean with her parents.

Seth Rollins(thought)- "Paige was right, this conversation would destroy our relationship."

Mr Lee- "Seth are you ok?"

Seth Rollins- "Sorry, I need to go"

Seth left and ran out of the apartment complex, he started running and running and running until he couldn't run anymore. Seth was gone, Seth was lost.

Authors Note: Will Seth and AJ's relationship be able to withstand this test? Only time will tell.
