Chapter 5 - Rookies Bonding

Wednesday -3/1/17- It was a cold January day and Paul Levesque asked for all six of the new talent that were signed via the try-out to meet him in a coffee shop close to the Performance Centre. All of them were happy to oblige and arrived 8am sharp.

Paul was already sitting there when the talent walked in. He looked at them and smiled.

Paul Levesque- "Please take a seat and I'll go get drinks."

He did just that and the rookies all looked at each other in uncomfortable silence except for Nikki and Paige who smiled and whispered to each other.

Paul came back with six hot chocolates, one for each rookie. He handed the drinks to them.

Paul Levesque- "I've gathered you here to make all of you guys get along. The people at this table are very likely to be the people you'll be best friends with later in your careers. I've decided to assure that by making you guys talk. All of you will develop wrestling skills together as you are all in the same training program. Which means your training sessions for the first two years of your career will be with one another. You'll be seeing a lot of each other around so you might as well try to get along, right? I'm going to leave you all here to talk and get to know each other. I don't want any arguments or fights to break out between you guys understand me?"

The rookies nodded in unison.

Paul Levesque- "Great, see you guys later."

Paul left his seat and walked out of the shop. He was a very busy man so it was understandable. All of the rookies sat in silence for a while not sure what to do or say to break the tension. They were surrounded in a bubble of awkwardness until finally one of them spoke.

Roman Reigns- "So ... um where are you all from? I'm from Pensacola, Florida."

Seth Rollins- "Um ... I was born in Buffalo, Iowa."

Paige Bevis- "I was born in Norwich, England."

Nikki Bella- "I'm from San Diego, California."

Silence then fell again as the four who had spoken looked at the two who hadn't said a word. Dean and AJ were just avoiding their eye contact until Seth Rollins lightly tapped Dean's arm.

Seth Rollins- "So dude ... um where were you born."

Dean stared at him for about 10 seconds and then shouted his answer.

Dean Ambrose- "CINCINNATI BROTHA."

Everyone in the shop looked over. They all got a fright except for Roman who just chuckled quietly.

Dean Ambrose- "I'm not much of a people person as you can imagine but get me in the right mood and I'll just talk for hours."

Roman Reigns- "I like meeting new people but I'm only friends with people who respect me. If someone were to piss me off I'd have to teach them a lesson or two."

Dean Ambrose- "Hey man I understand what your saying. I had a rough upbringing living in Cincinnati and got in a fight or ten all because people don't know when to stop talking. See my words speak volumes about who I am as a person and my actions just back that up. I don't mind arguing with someone but take note for future reference if you try to beat me up your gonna be on the wrong end of an ass-whooping."

Roman Reigns- "We share basic morals my friend what's your name again?"

Dean Ambrose- "Dean Ambrose, you?"

Roman Reigns- "Roman Reigns."

Dean and Roman went off deep in conversation about the NFL as Seth just sat back and sipped his hot chocolate just listening to what they were saying and waiting until the perfect time to join in the talk.
