Chapter 53 - Let's Takeover

Friday -28/3/17- It was the day of NXT Takeover: Wrestlemania and Nikki Bella and Paige were so excited for their match that they didn't sleep. They both got up and got ready just thinking about tonight. It would be their night to show off the wrestling skills that they had learned in last three months.

They got their bags ready and went downstairs to get a taxi to Full Sail University, the NXT arena.

They were very nervous about the match but excited at the same time. They were talking to some of the more experienced NXT Superstars and Divas such as Alexa Bliss and Apollo Crews about how to stay calm before a big match.

Paul Levesque came up to them.

Paul Levesque- "Hello girls welcome to the NXT Arena. Did you get the last part of the match sorted?"

Nikki Bella- "Yes, we are ready to go."

Paul Levesque- "Nervous?"

Paige Bevis- "Oh my god yes, how did you keep calm for all those huge matches you had all these years?"

Paul Levesque- "Experience helps. Anyway I know you guys will kill it. Your changing room is down that corridor and the third door on your left. You guys are on in three hours. Good luck. I'll talk to you guys again just before you go out."

Paul left and the rookies went to get changed. They talked about the match as the time ticked by. With ten minutes until the match Paul Levesque came to get them.

Paul Levesque- "It's time to play the game ladies."

Paige and Nikki laughed.

They walked out of the changing room towards the Gorilla Position.

They could hear NXT ring announcer Greg Hamilton talking about their match.

Greg Hamilton- "This match is scheduled for one fall and will be put on by two very amazing NXT trainees. This is their debut so let's give them a warm reception. Introducing first from San Diego, California, Nikki Bella."

Nikki's music hit and she walked out. Posed on the ramp and walked down it.

Paige Bevis- "I can't do this! Paul get me out of here! I can't do it!"

Paige began flipping out, punching the wall and shouting. She heard a voice from behind her.

Dean Ambrose- "Paige! Calm down!"

Paige Bevis- "Dean what are you doing here?"

Dean Ambrose- "As if I'd miss my friends first match. We all got driven here by Paul. The others are at catering by the way. They told me to say hello to you for them. Anyway just take a second, breathe and compose yourself. Good luck as well."

Paige Bevis- "I've got this."

Greg Hamilton- "Introducing next, from Norwich, England, Paige."

Paige's music hit and she walked out onto the stage. She took a moment to look at all of the people who were packed into the NXT Arena to watch the show. She then hit a tribal like scream and walked down the ramp.

She looked across the ring at Nikki who smiled.

The two did the match exactly as they practised it. Nikki won with a backbreaker rack drop and she celebrated.

Backstage Paul and Dean stood looking at the monitor.

Paul Levesque- "So are you ever going to tell Paige that I didn't drive you guys all out here, that the others are all at the apartment and you paid for your own taxi to get here?"

Dean Ambrose- "Probably not but she's a smart girl and she might work it out for herself."

Paul Levesque- "Also will you tell her you love her?"

Dean Ambrose- "Hey, the only person I love is myself."

Paul Levesque- "That's not what it looks like to me."

Paige and Nikki came through the curtain and hugged Dean and Paul.

Paul Levesque- "Great job ladies. I knew you wouldn't disappoint."

Dean Ambrose- "Good match. We all need to get going though but we'll see you guys back at the apartments ok?"

Paige Bevis- "Sure, tell the others I said thanks for showing up."

Dean Ambrose- "I will."

Nikki and Paige went to get changed and Dean got a taxi back to the apartment.

Nikki Bella- "That was so much fun. If this my life forever I will be so happy."

Authors Note: Nikki and Paige have a match under their belt already and it was good. Why did Dean show up to the Arena though?
