Chapter 15 - Seth Asks The Question

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose came back into the Performance Centre after the incident in the parking lot.

Training continued as usual and the rookies built on what they had learned the day before with pinning combinations being a huge focus of the session. All went well this time as no one was hurt today.

The day ended with more circuit training with Chris Jericho as usual. The rookies got ready to leave the performance centre and as AJ Lee was gathering her things Seth stared at her. Dean was beside him and saw him looking at AJ.

Dean Ambrose- "What are you waiting for a fucking blue moon. Go ask her man."

Dean pushed Seth in AJ's direction and she noticed him getting closer and looked up at him.

AJ Lee- "Hey Seth what's up?"

Seth Rollins- "Nothing really but I need to ask you something."

AJ Lee- "Oh really? Well go ask me."

Seth was sweating, now was his chance to ask AJ out.

Seth Rollins- "So um ... I was thinking that maybe me and you could um ... go to the vending machine?"

Dean was watching in the distance with Paige.

Paige Bevis- "Oh shitting hell Seth."

Dean just face palmed and looked on.

AJ Lee- "I think you can go by yourself. You are a big boy now Seth. See you on the bus though."

AJ skipped away and Dean went with her meanwhile Paige stayed back to talk to Seth.

Paige Bevis- "I take it you got nervous."

Seth Rollins- "I'm just not good at asking girls out. I wish I was more like Ambrose."

Paige Bevis- "Wouldn't be a bad thing."

Seth Rollins- "What was that?"

Paige Bevis- "Nothing, nothing it doesn't matter. You just have to go for it Seth. Take it from me who came from Norwich to Florida for a try-out. If I hadn't went for it then I wouldn't be here right now. Sometimes you've got to risk it."

Seth Rollins- "Ok I see what you mean. I just get really nervous when she is near me."

At that moment Nikki Bella walked in and heard what Seth and Paige were talking about.

Nikki Bella- "Hey guys. I heard you talking about Seth wanting to get with AJ. Seth, Paige is right I think you should just go for it. It's really obvious you like her so just do it. To calm your nerves about talking to her just keep talking to her and spending time with her and get to know her. Then ask her and she'll say yeah and take it from there."

Seth thought about what Nikki said.

Seth Rollins- "You are right. This weekend I'll spend a ton of time with her and then ask her."

Roman Reigns was listening intently as well.

Roman Reigns- "Sounds great lover boy but it's time to haul ass and leave."

The rookies all got up and went towards Roman who was at the door.

They went back to their building and got a good nights sleep for the next day.

Authors Note: Seth was so close to asking AJ out but messed up. Will they ever start dating? What was Paige's comment about Dean all about?
