Chapter 74 - The Bet

Sunday -15/9/17- It was Sunday and so the trainees had a day off. Roman had suggested to Dean and Seth about having a barbecue and a small party.

They decided it was a great idea and so set the date, Sunday 15th of September.

They rented a barbecue for the day because Seth brought up the point that they would rarely use the barbecue so it would be pointless in buying one.

The barbecue arrived and Seth lifted it around to the back of the apartments where there was a small grassy area. Dean had bought a small paddling pool and some barrels of water to fill it.

Dean was blowing up the paddling pool and trying to fill it while Roman was lying back in a deckchair with a Coke in hand.

Dean Ambrose- "It's tiring trying to blow this thing up. I'm out of breath, someone take over?"

Seth Rollins- "If I put my mouth on the valve I'll get your spit in my mouth."

Dean Ambrose- "So what, I've had people spit in my mouth it's not that bad."

Roman gagged slightly at Dean's comment.

Seth heated the barbecue with a gas tank, some charcoal and a lighter.

Seth Rollins- "Ah ha! I got it working. Roman you wanted to man the barbecue so you can take it from here."

Roman got up and went towards the barbecue and put steaks, burgers and chicken breasts on the grill.

Dean was sitting in the pool with arm floaties on (keep in mind the water depth is around knee height if Dean were standing up).

Up in the apartments Paige was doing some online shopping when Nikki Bella came into her room.

Paige Bevis- "Hey Nikki, what's up?"

Nikki Bella- "Do you hear that? Do you smell that? There is a barbecue going on outside, the guys are having one and neither Seth or Dean asked us to go to it. Can you believe that?"

Paige Bevis- "So, I'm not angry. Maybe they wanted some time just the three of them to hug, spoon and kiss each other or whatever they do in privacy."

Nikki Bella- "Get serious for a minute. I say we march down there and talk with Dean and Seth, just totally blank Roman of course but I have nothing against Dean and Seth."

Paige Bevis- "I'm cool with all of them. Let's go see what's going on."

Paige grabbed some flip flops and her and Nikki went downstairs to the barbecue.

Dean Ambrose- "I'm telling you man I can do a flip with a full beer bottle in my mouth and not spill any of it."

Seth Rollins- "Dude I doubt it."

Dean Ambrose- "I know I can, what are you betting I can't do it?"

Seth Rollins- "Loser needs to get a haircut of the winners choosing?"

Nikki and Paige arrived.

Paige Bevis- "Hey guys. We smelled the barbecue and wondered if we could come down and sit?"

Dean Ambrose- "Oh yeah sure."

Nikki Bella- "So what are you doing."

Dean Ambrose- "Me and Seth just made a bet. If I can do a flip with a full beer bottle in my mouth then Seth will need to get a haircut of my choosing but if I can't then he picks my haircut."

Paige Bevis- "Some haircuts aren't suitable for certain hair types. Why don't you do hair dye instead? That way it'll be easy for either one of you to put it in your hair."

Seth Rollins- "Dean, do hair dye instead?"

Dean Ambrose- "I'm already thinking about what colour I should pick for you. Deal. Let's do this."

Dean stood up and went on the grass.

He opened the beer bottle.

Roman put Eye of the Tiger on through their Bluetooth speaker.

Dean put the bottle in his mouth.

He squatted a couple times to stretch his legs and jumped a couple of times.

Dean jumped up did a front flip and landed on his ass.

Dean had won.

Seth was getting his hair dyed.

Dean Ambrose- "BOO YA! Suck it Seth you're getting your hair dyed."

Seth Rollins- "Fuck sake."

Seth punched the ground.

Roman Reigns- "Dean! What colour are you thinking of giving him."

Dean Ambrose- "Since he's on the rebound from a breakup I don't want to  ruin his life. I want him to look pretty. I think that blonde contrasting against your black hair would look good. We are going with blonde."

Seth Rollins- "I can live with that I guess."

The rookies talked the day away until a big topic was brought up.

Paige Bevis- "I love having you guys here it's just a shame AJ is gone."

Seth just put his head down.

Paige Bevis- "Oh my gosh Seth I'm sorry that I brought her up around you. I thought that you were fine talking about her now?"

Seth Rollins- "I'm fine talking about her but it's just when you say her name I get a chill and think about her."

Nikki Bella- "That's called love."

Seth Rollins- "She said one day she'd be back but who knows when.

A fence creaked open and all of them turned around.

Paul Levesque walked towards them.

Paul Levesque- "I thought I smelled barbecue. I hope you kids are having fun. I came here to give you some news. We are doing some more recruiting in the next three months to find more Superstars and Divas for the same program you guys are in. We may need you guys to help us decide who we pick as you know what the course entails and what it's like to be in their position. Dean this means that I won't be able to train you privately so I came here to drop off the keys to my personal gym suite in the Performance Centre. Have fun and stay as long as you like, I don't mind. I'll be really busy these next few months so I won't be with you guys as much but I still like all you kids and hope you get on well. Thanks for listening to me ramble on. I'll catch you guys later."

Dean looked at the keys he'd been given.

Dean Ambrose- "You see this? This is power."

The rookies processed that they (The Future) would be used to pick The Future.
