Tuesday -25/11/17- As they usually did on Tuesdays the rookies got up, got ready and made their way to Performance Centre for training.

They arrived and Paul Levesque was stood at the door waiting on them.

He let everyone but Dean go inside.

Dean Ambrose- "If this is about the broken plant pot in your room I had nothing to do with that."

Paul Levesque- "There is a broken plant pot in my room?"

Dean Ambrose- "Um......no."

Paul Levesque- "Anyway....moving on. I wanted to let you know that I have decided that you are ready to go back and train with your friends under Booker T again as you two have gotten on well recently."

Dean Ambrose- "Why do you think we get on now? We are separated. We hate each other and so being away from one another is what is helping us not fight. Paul I'm begging you here, don't make me train under Booker. He was overrated then and he's overrated now. I've learned so much from you."

Paul Levesque- "And now you can show Booker that I'm a better trainer than what he is by using everything you have learned and applying it to his sessions and scenarios. Trust me this is going to work and it's going to happen so get in there now."

Dean Ambrose- "You are talking to me like you're my dad here man."

Paul didn't even smile at Dean's joke.

Dean Ambrose- "Tough crowd."

Paul Levesque- "Maybe people inside will like your jokes."

Dean turned away from Paul and walked into the Performance Centre and into Booker's training room. Everyone in the room turned to look at him.

Booker T- "Dean why are you here?"

Dean Ambrose- "Big Paul said that I'm back in here for good and you've to try and teach me and get on with me."

Booker T- "But it was working so well with us separated."

Dean Ambrose- "That's what I said."

Booker T- "God damn it, why did you need to come back?"

Dean Ambrose- "I didn't ask for this alright. I was much happier hitting a punching bag and listening to Nickelback for hours on end than being stuck in here while you rambled on about nothing and taught me nothing."

Booker T- "That's your problem that you couldn't process what I was saying as all of the others did and look at them, they are great at what they do. I taught them for months and they are going to be a success but I'm not sure about you."

Dean Ambrose- "You have your doubts like everyone else does and that just motivates me to outperform everyone you throw in front of me."

Booker T- "Good because I'm going to work you harder than everyone else. You are going to be worked until you want to leave this place and never come back."

Dean Ambrose- "Well we both know that ain't happening. Every single time that you put me down I'll get back up and I'll show you exactly what Paul taught me."

Booker T- "Really? And what did he teach you?"

Dean Ambrose- "To stand up for yourself and fight no matter the odds or opposition."

Booker T- "That's going to be well and truly put to the test. Everyone start jogging on the spot for five minutes except Dean. Dean you go running on the spot for ten minutes and don't you dare stop or it'll become twenty."

Dean turned away and did just as Booker told him. The others finished their jogging and moved onto another activity then Dean would finish his and Booker would force him to do even more and that continued for the entire session.

By the end Dean was an absolute mess. He was drenched in sweat, his hair messed up (although that was fairly normal for him), his arms hurt, his legs hurt, his head hurt and he was in a heap on the floor. Booker T walked over to him.

Booker T- "So Dean how did you enjoy your first session back with me?"

Dean looked up at Booker.

Dean Ambrose- "I'll take another sir. See you tomorrow, same time, same place."

Dean got up, collected his bag and limped to the door.

He bumped his arms on the corridor walls and was in pain as he slowly hobbled his way to the bus to take him and the other rookies home.

It would be difficult but Dean was not going to give up anytime soon.

Authors Note: Dean and Booker are still at odds even though Paul wants them to get along. That won't sit well with Paul but Dean isn't going to complain to him about the hard work and extensive training as Dean has too much pride. What will happen next?
