- 20 years later -

"I would like to make a toast." Delphine stood up with her glass. "To my sister, my best friend."

"Oh." Willa pouted her lip, hugging her. "Don't make me cry! I didn't even walk down the aisle yet!" She giggled.

"Cheers, Willa." Malti raised her glass as well. "We love you."

"You look so beautiful." Valentina sighed.

"Hey, where's Alena?" Willa frowned, noticing she was the only missing bridesmaid.

"I'm here, I'm here!" She barged in the room with her son Paul on her hands.

"Oh hey, little one." Delphine squealed, taking him from her hands.

"I swear to god, this kid will be the death of me." She sighed, brushing a hand through her hair. "Remember when our parents used to say having kids is so tough and we just laughed? Yeah, it's not so funny anymore."

They all giggled as they cheered and drank the Prosecco. Willa looked out of the window, seeing people already starting to gather around. For their ceremony, they chose the same place in Italy where her parents got married. It was a special place for their family, the once that held many beautiful memories.

"Nervous?" Del stood beside her, grabbing her hand.

"A little." She sighed with a smile. "This is it..."

"This is it... Hey, by the way, dad texted me like five minutes ago that he's here."

"Do you think he'll be surprised?" Willa smiled spinning in her mom's wedding dress.

"I can't believe it fits you so well!" Delphine shook her head with a huge smile. "I think it was always a dream of hers to see you in it."

"Knock, knock." Nick peaked behind the doors.

"Dad!" Malti gasped. "You can't be here."

"I just wanted to say that Joe is here, Willa are you ready for-" He looked her direction, but immediately stopped when he saw what she was wearing.

"Hi, uncle." Willa giggled.

"Wow." He whispered. "You look... beautiful."

"Let me see!" Joe's voice could be heard behind him.

"Dad, get the photographer first." Del said.

"He's here, we're ready." Nick smiled.

The photographer squeezed in the room, taking his place as Ann hid behind a curtain.

"Okay, dad, come in." Del grabbed his arm and pulled him inside. "Where does he need to stand?"

"Right here and just turn to face the wall." The photographer instructed.

"Okay..." Joe said, taking his place.

"Okay, we're ready for you, Willa!" Del yelled, clapping her hands.

"I'm so nervous." Joe chuckled.

"I don't think you're ready for it." Del giggled.

Willa walked out and got closer to them, standing only a few steps away from her dad, as all the girls and Nick stood in the back.

"Hey, dad." Willa chuckled, already tearing up.

"Hey, baby girl." Joe whispered, wiping his eyes.

The photographer started to snap photos as Willa placed a hand on his shoulder, making him turn around. As soon as he saw the dress he broke, crouching down as he hid his face in his hands. Willa sobbed, wiping the tears from under her eyes, desperately trying to keep her make up in place.
