Radio: What have you done...

Y/N: I did not kill the beasts. I befriended them. I am not playing your sick, twisted games any longer. They trusted me when I had darkness coursing through my veins. Each bond I made along the way made me stronger, so ask me this... WHY... MUST... I KILL... EVERYTHING?!

Radio: You know not what you ask... *Static*

Y/N: I know exactly what I ask, you mysterious, riddle-dealing, FUCK! I find you... you are so dead.

Radio: You are running in circles... Every moment you dwell here will lead us closer to a vicious cycle that cannot be ended. You have shown me that you are too held on by things that are no longer yours... You have a chance... one last chance... to leave... will you take it?

Y/N: Leave what?

Radio: This wretched place, this world... this... hellscape of total chaos.

Y/N: I'm going to the heart of it all, and I'm ending it. This will save many more than myself...

Radio: The solution you find will not be one ideal... the heart cannot be simply turned off... Y/N. We are not brave, Y/N...

Y/N: What do you mean, "we"?

Radio: Stop this... stop now... and try to remember why you are here in this hellscape, before you ruin things like many others before you with the forgotten notion that you will die...

Y/N: Why are you getting so desperate, huh? What are you hiding?

The heart of the plague, the spire, squeals and makes creaking noises the closer we fly to the large tree-like entity. My radio is filled to the brim with static, unable to hear the stranger's voice clearly. Mox lands on a branch that's close to an entry point before the radio gives me one last conversation with the person.

Radio: Do you fear... death?

Y/N: Yes... but I will gladly risk it all so others may go on.

Radio: Then... allow me to reacquaint you.

*THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!*

The branches of the outer part of the tree split open, creating a passageway for me. It's big enough for me and only me, and I'd have to leave behind Serenity and Mox. When I climb off of Mox, walking with Chase, a forcefield pushes her back. When I walk through it, I notice my body rapidly decays back into the form I woke up with.

Mox, Serenity, and Chase all crowd around the doorway.

Mox: I don't understand... are you leaving us?

Y/N: I might come back; I might not...

Mox: Oh...

Y/N: All I can say is... thank you, all of you.

Mox: Goodbye, Y/N.

Mox's wings cover both Serenity and Chase as they all watch me go. As a trio, they remind me of a fierce team that would make the darkness cower in fear. If only things could be under better circumstances, I would have loved to meet them and care for them like they were pets of mine.

There's no doubt I'm walking right into a trap. I continue walking down a corridor, seeing sights that are very familiar. Looking down at my hands, I clutch them as I watch them flake once again, my body now regressing back into what it was. Soft music plays, dreamy, sad music plays. I hear the pitter patters of many feet and what kicks it off is something... so sweet...

Snarky voice: I LOVE Y/N!!!

Robotic voice: I love you...

Monotone voice: I... want... Y/N...
