A new day... a new asshole... for me, not an actual person. Yeah, Mox and I went all night. Sadly, I decided to write down the best moments of that, which was the first round. I'm currently spending my day sitting around, waiting for Mox to get ready in the morning. Her and I are going to do the sparring thing, the actual sparring, not the sex thing.
We're going to try and see if she can help me awaken my solar powers. Mox finally comes out of her wardrobe, and she immediately rushes over to kiss me when she sees me.
Mox: Hey.
Y/N: We ready?
Mox: Let's go.
We lock hands, walking out of the quarters. Seri and Chase are out and about. I heard both of them are scouting out a few Vex areas around Mars, prepping for another try at colonizing the place for whatever Vex reason. Anyway, back to the training.
Mox: Since you can use the two elements in tandem, I'm assuming, we're going to work on tapping into the third. I wonder if it's there, but you just don't know it or know what it does. We need to figure out the right grenade and proper melee stance for you, that way your armor modifications can work at peak efficiency.
Y/N: I see...
Mox: Void is the only one I'm skeptical about. We know about your shield ability, but I'm less inclined to believe it's just a Sentinel's shield... I will need to see it.
Y/N: You will; don't worry.
Mox: Your arc seems to take... which makes me suspect the hunter how it takes resources from enemies, or how Chase can take any item and turn it into a bomb. Seri's shield... She's never used in a while, but it doesn't seem like the normal Sentinel shield. I've seen spiked, bladed, rigid, dual-wield, even a boomerang used by another titan, but... Your solar has to be from a warlock.
Y/N: Do you think... radiance?
Mox: Sunsingers... I was one of the few Voidwalkers at one point, but I learned Sunsinger as fast as I was able to. The capability of self-resurrection when your ghost is smothered by the darkness' presence... was indeed remarkable. I'm not quite sure, but we'd have to experiment.
We fly into the Cosmodrome, an empty part that I've never been to. My HUD on my helmet reads "Old Yellowstone", and it's a bunch of lakes inside a big forest, but they're... different.
Mox: This area is perfect. It's unstable ground that erupted multiple times in its lifetimes. Nobody is going to come out here, even after the eruptions no longer happen.
Y/N: Oh... like... volcanic?
Mox: Yes. It's been stable and inactive for ages. Now, it is a peaceful landscape, perfect for our practicing. Guns away.
*WHOOSH!*
She slouches into a stance, distancing herself as she glides back. Her one hand is by her stomach whilst her other hand is extended out towards me. She has the Prismatic abilities, so she's able to conjure raw light and a pinkish, rainbow energy that's a combination of every element.
Mox: I don't expect you to win. I expect you to demonstrate all you've learned.
Y/N: Are you sure?
Mox transmats her helmet on her head, locking it in place.
Mox: Do I look sure?
Y/N: You look like the human embodiment of my cancer... a killer...
Mox snickers softly under her helmet-muffled, static breath. I raise my hands in a stance similar to Chase's, but my feet are more planted, less spread out and less likely to get knocked out from under me. It's hard to focus on my powers, but thanks to Serenity and my basic training, I can concentrate on conjuring my shield and my... tendrils...
