I had to do a few things and check in on a few people before I was going to see Mox. I checked in with Ikora after Tess, who was happy to see that I was coming along well. Both her and I were able to connect like old friends, it seems, and before that, Tess was ecstatic that I was able to remember just who we were... together. If only Fenchurch was around, I would like to see him too. Apparently, he made an appearance at my funeral, says Ikora.
Ikora: ...but that is marvelous how your recovery is coming along well. I'm proud of how fast you can adapt; further proof that you are Y/N. You are him.
She holds out her hand, which Seri nudges me to take. I take her hand, shaking it, and then she pulls me into a brief embrace, patting my back, then letting go of me.
Ikora: If only you knew how to use your formatter and you were as creatively gifted as yourself. Maybe in due time, you may see his visions too. Travel safe, Y/N, and you two...
Chase: What's up?
Ikora: You both remember why bonds are important as much as dangerous.
Chase: Yes, hopefully we don't turn the Tower into another "Landing Supernova" incident. We don't need any big booms... again... again-again...
Ikora: Travel safe, keep your light by your side, guardians.
She turns around, watching the horizon as we leave her area. We walk through the night until we reach the quarters. Before I press the elevator button, Seri grabs my hand.
Seri: Y-you ready, though?
Y/N: I don't think I'll ever be... You said she missed me the most?
Chase: So much so, that she throws your walking corpse across a restaurant, yep. Gotta convince her that you're him now and you embraced those memories. That's where we come in, blue.
Finally, we stop beating around the bush. I take my hand out of Seri's and press the elevator button. Looking down at my armor, my desire for shaders and ornaments grow exponentially. The scratches have been repaired and so has the corrosion from the Cosmodrome, thankfully. However, it's just so basic and it barely stands out. I love my shawl, but it's not enough.
Before I can dive deep into my fashion crisis and start talking about my desire for a beard, the elevator opens in front of us. My mind steers clear of that topic for the time being when we pile into it.
Seri: So... w-what are you going to say?
Y/N: Uhh... I-I don't know. You think I can get by with just a "hey"?
Chase: Nope... Ya gotta get personal, blue-boot.
Y/N: Your nicknames gotta get less weird.
Chase: Nope, not gonna happen anytime soon, boo-berry.
Seri: Boo-berry?
Chase: Boobry. Booby... heh... I'll call you booby.
Y/N: This... isn't elevator talk. Why not just ask about the weather or your favorite band or something?
Chase: It's summer and it's hot down here. Starheart hasn't played in ages because they all went and saw Reven, that wishmaking dragon in the Dreaming City. You gotta go explore, bloobert.
Seri: Should call him the booty shiner after all we did...
Chase: Oh, Serenity... from you?! Oh myyy... Behave, baby...
The elevator opens to a very small hallway. At the end of the hallway is a table and a random flower painting, but either door seems bulkier and more high-end than my door to my quarters. Seri comes over and enters a code into the pad next to it which I memorize for later. The sliding door was eery despite it being completely normal. I walk inside first, hit with a thought of wonder when I see the inside of this place.
