Next week, I woke up and stuck my head up off the pillow, but it was incredibly difficult to move. In fact, I might as well have just given up when I saw what the problem was. Chase was sleeping on my legs, with a pillow down there as she hugged one of them. Seri had her arm over my chest, shielding me from anything that could come my way. Mox had her arms wrapped around my stomach, and in her sleepy state, she plops her hand down on the side of my face.

Mox: Mmmm...

Ever since I did it with Mox that one night, she's changed a lot. She's much more open, expressive of her emotions and less stoic. She's still Mox in a way, but she's much more than Mox, maybe Moxie. No... that might be a stretch.

Serenity is okay with me doing this, totally willing to share now rather than being possessive. I think she's only possessive in public now, or if someone like Tess were to talk to me. Opening up her defenses for two others to partake in my gloriousness... haha... if only, but anyway, she's become less tolerant of my friends. Not like I had many to begin with for her to worry about.

Chase. Oh... where do I begin? She's just so happy to be a part of this finally. She's filled with glee to be able to sleep next to me, to finally have that shot that she wanted to take for so long. It's wholesome just how much she cares for her friends and now me. Tucking me in bed, forehead kisses, even dashing in front of me to stop me from rolling over potholes and such.

They're all my favorite emotional support guardians. There are no favorites, and I hope to prove that later tonight. I want to bed Serenity and Chase with that gadget. Hopefully I can get something out of them. I know relationships are more than sex, of course, but that's all I can think about. That's the best way I can give something back to them, the best way I can say my thanks before I have to go... forever.

Actually... maybe this is the best way, just giving them all my time. I hope I have room for everything else I want to do too...

I feel the urge to cough, but I don't want to disturb them. I cough anyway, unable to block it any longer. This cough shoots a sharp pain through my chest and stomach, like I've been shot. I've never felt this much pain from a cough, ever. I cough again, which causes each girl to raise their head. I cough more, more, and it turns into a fit where I have to get Mox and Seri to roll me over.

Chase reaches out, helping me sit up. I heave, holding my chest as I feel as if it's a heart attack. I've never had a heart attack, but my inability to breathe and the sensation of my body beginning to shut down just seems to make me think so. I look up at Chase, who's looking down at me with concern. She squeezes my arms tighter as I hold my chest, wheezing like someone who's undead, a zombie, a husk of someone.

Mox: It's worse, isn't it?

Y/N: Mmm... Mhmm...

Mox: Fuck.

She stands up, rushing out of my bedroom to get my medicine. We're thinking of moving me into their place. With how cramped it gets here with three guardians, I'm in full support of it. I don't have much to move and I'm willing to bet Serenity could throw it all in a box and pick it up. Mox comes in with more than just MY medicine.

Y/N: Woah-woah... w-wait-*COUGH!* W-what?!

Chase: What is that? You're not injecting him with some demon magic until you tell him.

Mox loads a cartridge with a yellow liquid inside it within a little injector tool. It's like the injector gun I saw at the hospital, but smaller and probably capable of a quicker injection.

Mox: A steroid that's going to go in your chest. Pain relief.

Y/N: O-oh...

*THUMP!*
