To Catch A Cardinal

Chapter 5

*Jimmy's Pov*

I walked down the yellow tile path infront of Toast, leading the way. The path twisted and turned. Suddenly spikes shot up from the floor almost impaling me from head to toe. "Woah! Nice try!" I laughed at the skipes as they receded back into the floor.

"There might be more traps Jimmy, you should watch out." Said Johnny.

"Don't worry! Nothin can kill the great Jimmy Casket!" I said and laughed a little.

I bounded down the corridor until it opened up into a big room. A piller had a triangle shape ingaved in it where you could place it. Toast walked up and set the peice in. It became one with the piller and sank into the ground.

"Hey? Now where?" Right after I said that the room started to grow dim. "He is waking up!" I said to Toast right before I colasped on the ground.

*Jordans Pov*

I woke up on the ground with a conserned Toast looking at me. "Sir? Are you ok?" Asked Toast.

"Yeah...where are we?" I asked him.

"Oh, umm....the underworld." He said.

"We're where!?" I almost shouted but Toast put his hand over my mouth.

"Keep it down sir, we are currently in the middle of a maze and Jimmy possessed you and is in your head like he was with Ghost. Right now we have to find a room with a glowing peice in it and follow the color path that comes up. You got that sir?" He said.

I thought for a moment and nodded. "Good now lets go. Can you walk?" He asked and I stood shakly to my feet. Toast supported me and we walked on. Soon I could walk on my own ad Toast led the way.

"So can you explain anything else to me?"

"Yes, Sir and Nycole are searching another part of this huge fortess to find a small demon named Cardinal. Apparently she and Nycole have had some bad experiences together and she wants revenge, at least thats what I think. Me and Jimmy found this secret passage and got trapped in this maze."

"Oh..." I said but stopped as the wall I leaded on gave way to a small room with a piller and glowing peice above it.

"Good job sir! You found the room!" Said Toast as he walked over slowly and picked up the glowing blue spuare. When I walked in the room a cage came crashing over me, trapping me with no door.

"Johnny!" I shouted.

"Sir!" He exclaimed. A hologram appeared above the piller. It read, Find the key hidden away in this room and save your friend....

"Johnny search for a key or something." Then out of the floor rose tall pillers. At the top of the hovered keys of all sizes. "Which one do I pick sir?" Asked Johnny.

"Uhhh...." I scanned the room until my eyes fell on one that matched the cage. "That one!" I said and pointed to one in the far left corner of the room.

"Right sir" he said and made way for the piller. Soon he had the key and made his way backto the cage. He used it on the lock attached to one of the bars and the cage and key desolved.

6 doors appeared and we dollowed the blue one which matched the glowing blue square.

"Lets go sir." Said Johnny and we continued thorough the maze of life and death.
