*Ghosts Pov*

The air was rushing between my brown hair. We where still falling. There was nothing but darkness. Nycole was hugging me still. Her eyes where glowing a bit. That was kinda of normal at this point.

I felt something brush my jacket. The wall. I used my right arm to try to grab onto something. But I noticed something. The air that was going through my hair was slowing down. I grabbed out for the side and felt a ledge and I latched on and pulled myself up, then helping Nycole. It was large enough for us both to sit on. She raised her hand and it sparked at the tips. She put her hand above our heads and a small bolt of light froze in mid air. She plucked it out of the air and it fit nicely in her hand lighting up the room.

"My powers have returned, I think." She said to me.

"Well can we fly back up then?"

"And what would we find up there? Dragons. And no friends." She said sharply but then lowered her voice. "Sorry, I'm just tired of the same thing happening to us twice."

"I understand, maybe next time will be different."

"Yes I suppose so."

"Good, now, let's try to get out of here." I said calmly.

We jumped down from our ledge and with in 32 seconds found the ground beneath my feet, but it was uneven. I couldn't see my own hands past 5 feet in front of me. I wound up slapping my face to test how far I could see. "So where to now?" I asked. Rubbing my face.

"Forward, this only goes one way."

"Oh it dose? And who ever could could know that?" Said a voice from up ahead. It was a boy from the sound of it and it must've been the boy from earlier. "I don't think we ever properly introduced ourselves. My name is Shade." He said.

He steps sounded uneven as he walked slowly forward towards us. "And I have my own way of getting a fair fight." He raised his hand and looked at us with most of his hair covering his face. A red glint to his eyes. He looked right at me.

My ears started to ring and a great pain shot through out my body like a bullet. I fell to the ground on my hands and knees spitting up blood. Black blood.

"Oh come on! You can do better! Fighting it won't help you Ghost." He teased with a deadly smile creeping across his face.

I gaged and my brain was filled with laughter. Nycole tried to help me up but I swatted her hand away. "Leave! Go! GeT AwAY!!" I screamed at her. She looked broken and slowly backed away. I stood to my feet still half crouching as I watched my own clothes change in front of my eyes. Flickering back and forth between my grey hoodie and a black one with red blood stains.

Shade laughed an insane laugh. "That's it! Suffer you impulsive fool! You can't win this fight no matter how strong you may be! Your hands have already been stained with the blood of a killer!"

My vision was giving out but I forced my self to not close my eyes. A voice sounded, high and shrill in my ears. Gashes emerged and Shade walked up and let my blood spill. The black blood sent shivers through my body and pain spread like a wild fire. "NyCoLe!!" I screamed at her and my clothes finally stayed the black hoodie with stains of blood on them. "LeaVe!! RUN!! PlEAsE!!" I shouted insanely at her. She stood frozen in place as she started at me.

"Why?"

"BecAuSe I CouLd KILL YOU!! Why ELSe?!?!"

Her eyes where glowing a dark grey. "And you really are stupid." She replied as smoke surrounded her and she became unclear to see.

"Stop that!" Said Shade. And he tried to cut her but she punched him with a hefty blow to the stomach. She had these yellow hand blaster things on with a round of ammo in it in each hand. She walked calmly up to Shade who held his ground. He lifted his hands but nothing happened.

"Wha-?" But before he could say 'what' he was flung a good 13 feet away. He wiped blood off of his mouth onto his jacket. The pain that I was feeling had only tripled and I was loosing consciousness.

"It's too late," he scoffed at Nycole. "He is gaining control and will soon consume your friend."

I coughed up some more blood and Shade walked over to me. He put his hand a few inches above me and a force pushed me down. I couldn't resist it. I lay on the floor with Shade pinning me down with some unknown force and the world faded from view. All I heard was Nycole scream my name and that blood was spilled; black blood.
