To Catch A Cardinal

Chapter 14

*Ghost's Pov*

I slowly opened my eyes the room I was in was very well lighted. The pain in my head had slowly receded to a dim headach. My shirt was bloody and a huge gash ran through my front half from how it felt. I tried to sit up but it was too painful.

I glanced around from where I was laying. There was nobady around as far as I could tell. Shackles where around my ankles, hands and neck like a dog collar. The chains where attached to the wall and wrapped around/welded to little half circles in the wall.

I lifted up my hoodie and shirt to see my wound. But to my supprise, I had wrappings around my torso, legs, my right arm, and part of my head.

I picked up my self slowly using the wall for support. Once I had acomplished that foot steps echoed off the walls. Out of the door to my right farthest away from me appered three people, two of which where my worst enemies. Cardinal and Elza, along with another girl I didn't reconize.

She wore a black tank top, from my guess, underneath her black hoodie. She wore black leggings and black Combat shoes shoes. Her hair was short, brown and curly, but up in a ponytail. She walked just a bit behind the other two. Cardinal walked right up to me and giggled in her little girl voice.

"Hey! Hows my favorite test subject!" She said in a sweet voice.

"I refuse to be used...as a...test subject..." I said weakly. Elza came up behind her and kicked me to the ground. I grunted and held in a scream of pain.

The throbbing started up in my head again. The other girl gave a wide insane grin, her eyes seemed to melt my soul. She stayed silent but watched my with the deadly stare.

Cardinal cleared her throat. "Soooo....! How life?"

"Not good..."

"Well we will need you now so enough chit chat! Lets go!" She flicked her hand and the two other girls got to work. The unnamed girl grabbed the chains and started to undo them. Elza grabbed my arm and hair and uanked up. She dragged me up off the floor by my hair and right arm, the one in wrappings.

Hey, we need to get outta here....

Yeah, I know Jimmy.

So give me control....

Will you let me come back?

Yes.

Ok do it. I let my self go limp and a fiery pain spread across my head and body. Jimmy was comming back. The pain receded to the back of my head and an insane grin grew across my face.

*Jimmy's Pov*

The tight grip I felt let me know I had control again. I lifted my head up and smiled crazily at Elza she gave a confused face, but before she knew it, my chains where off and I had her in a head lock.

"Hi CarDInal! How are ya?" I said shakly.

"Oh nice to see you Jimmy!"

"You too! But I need to go right now so, bye bye!" I said as I waved and sprinted down the hallway outta here.

So you proud of me?

Yes Jimmy, I am...kinda...

Thats good enough for me. I ran past the millions of doors but stopped outside of one door that was half open. I ducked inside and closed it not looking behide me, only at the door. The foot steps drew near, but my breathing slowed to a top untill the foot steps passed on.

I turned around and found myself face to face with a huge swerling vortex. It was blue, next to it was a red one, a purple, golden, black and green one. They all showed diffrent places. One showed earth, out house and crystal sitting at her desk doing work to the ghost hunting equipment. The Black one showed a soul/void that never ends. Another a realm of earth giants, another a crazy demention with something going on, to many clouds in the way.

I studied each one, and decided that these could take us back to our demention. I let Johnny take control again.

*Ghost's Pov*

The portals loomed over me. I think we need to go theough here to get back home. I said to Jimmy.

No duh..

Can you find the others for me?

I can try.

Please?

Okay, lets go... I cautiously opened the door. When I didn't see anyone I made a dash for a way out, with Jimmy leading the way.
