Chapter 31

*Nycoles Pov*

Prince Fang lunged out at us. In a flash Crystal had turned into wolf form and body slammed him back. She growled and bared her teeth at him. He got up and showed his teeth. Crystals tail lashed back and forth, her massive sharp claws out and they clicked against the floor as she and Fang circles each other.

She leaped up in the air claws out and slammed them down on Fangs back. He hissed at her and struggled to get away but Crystal bares her teeth and growled menacingly at him and he backed down.

"Why are you here Fang?" I asked him.

"I was just doing as ordered from my master." He replied. "This was only an order." He said.

"Well can you tell us what you where to do with us once captured?"

He grunted as Crystal pushed the air out of him more. "To bring you to the master him self and then to await further orders."

"Hmm, tell you what Fang, you tell the master we hid at the other end of the building and tell us where Toaat and Kat are, we will let you go but you can't tell them about this conversation. Deal?"

He paused for a moment. "Fine, I'll do you deal." He grumbled as Crystal got off of him and transformed back. "Just never let her get on me again! It really hurt my wings."

"Fine I won't." Said Kat. We watched Prince Fang leave the room and walk down the hallway and soon followed. We stopped after walking around for a good 30 minutes.

"Here is where your friends should be and if they're not, they might have escaped. Where they went to I don't know. Now I'm off." He said and waddled away as fast as his legs could carry him.

I shoved the door and opened it slowly. Inside the room was in shambles. Two human sized cages lay in the floor, two dead beasts with blood ozone from them look like they had been attacked with 1,000 swords at once. Glass was everywhere and an unconscious boy lay off to the right of a beast.

"I think that they escaped." Said Ghost who looked at the damage.

"Agreed. We should start looking fort them." I said. They all nodded and we closed the door to the room and walked down the hallway in search of our friends once again.
