*Crystals Pov*
The guilt that weighed me down just kept on growing inside of me. I knew that I put a little of the black power in it but I didn't think it would take effect so quickly! And now I felt awful about doing it, but it was an order that had to be followed.
I made my down to the bottom of the stairs and helped Kat to the living room and onto the couch. I crouched down and looked at Kats eyes, they where duller than before and the color seemed different. This ment it was working, the power would drain her life force and then I could use it for my over throwing if the Black Bloods.
I stood up and sat down next to her and gave her a hug, she seemed a little shaken but she seemed more fragile. "Your going to be fine." I said to her.
She looked at me with calm eyes. "Yes, yes, I'm sure I will be, thank you but I think I want to take a nap now."
"Of course, later." I waved to her as I left the room. I made my way upstairs, down the hall and down to my room. It looked the same as always. I walked over to the closet and pulled out my Black Blood outfit. It had black all over with a mask that covered my nkse and mouth and for some reason it turned my hair black instead of its natural blonde color whenever I flipped the hood up. It had daggers and I was pretty happy with it.
I had decided that I would visit the Black Bloods soon, it was time to take action.
*Ghost's Pov*
The girl sat next to me as she explained where I was. She was beautiful and her clothes where very nice. She had on all white with blue outlines. A small blye fox huge out near her feet when she walked around but at the moment it was in her arms and she gave it soft stokes.
"So, you are currently in the void, and you will meet lots of your past or your nightmares or maybe some friends here, but never trust them, no matter how real they may seem. But as long as I'm here you wont have to worry about those things."
"And why is that?" I asked Scarlet.
"Lets just say that I radiate a certain energy that can protect us." She responded. I nodded and glanced around. She stood up and reached out a hand for me. I took it and got up, she had walked a couple of paces I front of me so I followed. Her small fix trotted along beside her. Scarlet then asked me a rather weird question. "Do you like music?" She asked.
"Yes, I do actually."
"Would you mind if I payed some then?"
"No not at all." I replied. Scarlet raised her hand and a green wooden flute appeared out of thin air. She held it up and began to play.
It was really smooth and calming the way she played as she continued walking by my side.
Out of the corner of my eye I caught a glimpse of a moving object. It seemed to be watching from the edges of the light that surrounded us.
She put her flute down and looked over at me. "So you can see them too?"
"Uhh..."
"See the shadows. They lurk around everywhere and prey on the weak. But they don't seem to want to get you, at the moment." Scarlet seemed to be loosing her glow. Soon she looked transparent.
"Wha-," she lifted her hand and touched mine.
"I'll be back, just have determination Johnny." She said as she faded from my view taking the light with her. I tried to hold her back but my hands went threw her and she vanished.
A faint red glow was coming from the shadows. It drew closer and closer, growling menacingly. I backed up and felt a cold surface on my back. I was up against a wall.
