Chapter 33

*Toasts Pov*

We had dashed threw the hallway and around corners until we could no longer here the beasts snarls.

Kat huffed and slumped down to the side wall and sighed. "I feel like this has happened before." She stood up and stretched her legs.

"I agree. But this is just what happened to us."

"Yeah I know." She said. "We should get moving. I don't want those... Things to catch us."

As we wandered down the hallway a loud clang broke the silence. "Come on!" She said and bolted down the hall daggers out and ready to fight with me behind her.

As we rounded a corner someone body slammed into my side knocking all of the air out of my chest. I opened my eyes and saw Ghost scrambling to get off of me. "Toast!" He exclaimed and smiled widely.

"Hello Sir! Are you okay? Where were you guys?" I asked. Nycole came up behind him and went to chat with Kat. Crystal snuck up behind Ghost and grabbed his shoulders. He screamed and ducked away. His foot slipped and he fell on the floor.

"What was that for Crystal?!" He said.

"I'm bored here and that was funny. And also my way of saying hi."

"Humph. Well don't do that again! You scared the living daylights out of me!"

She smiled evilly. "I won't make any promises." She snickered back. Nycole wandered on over to us with Kat.

"So you two are okay. That's fine and dandy and all but we need to get out of here or find out who's behind all of this."

"Well Fang wouldn't talk so we need to find the main control room." Said Crystal.

"Yes but even if we find it we need to get the guy. We need to set up a trap."

"And what would be your plan for that?" Asked Kat.

"I have a plan. So listen close cause I'm not saying it again."

After we had heard her plan she thought she knew where it was located due to the fact that some dragons she had over heard where going there.

We made our way down the halls, through doors and we might have had to explode some guards. But we don't talk about that.

A voice sounded above and the speakers came on. "All members of the test function please report to the test Arena. Bring test subjects K252 through K257 in storage area B."

The anonymous announcer paused. A mutter was heard on the speaker, "They escaped? I'll will bring them there soon enough lord." He paused again and spoke in full volume at the mic, "All guards, Test Subjects K252 through K257 have escaped. Find them and bring them to me." The intercom shut off and clinking sounded off to our right and left.

"They are coming!" Said Crystal nervously. Nycole waved her hands up and down. She looked confused and tried again but nothing happened . "My powers won't work!"

"Well what do we do?" Asked Kat.

A gruff voice shouted loudly. "There they are! GET THEM!!" 6 dragons locked eyes with us. They looked like they would be family to Prince Fang. A lead dragon barked orders and they all ran/half flew towards us with out stretched claws.

"RUN!!!" Shouted Nycole and she bolted away with us all close behind her away from the dragons.
