This Chapter was not edited. My entire family has been under the weather, and honestly, I had no chance to write at all this past week.
I am running off the schedule to finish this book, and I hate it because there are still so many things I want to happen.
I feel like it is getting so boring, and I am sorry... I feel like it is getting too complicated, and I hate it.
Anyways...
Enjoy and please point out any mistakes for me to fix!

Waking up in the soft glow of morning light, Hyunjin let out a drowsy groan, stretching his limbs like a cat lazily rising from slumber.
His arm instinctively fell to the side, seeking the warmth of Felix, who was supposed to be nestled close beside him.
However, all he felt were the cold sheets where his boyfriend was before he closed his eyes. Cracking one eye open, he tried to blink off the drowsiness.
"Minx?" The raven called out, an edge of concern creeping into his voice. "Baby? Where are you?"
He held his breath, hoping for some reassuring sound that would signify Felix was still in the apartment. Maybe he was making breakfast in the kitchen like he always did, but the silence was overwhelming.
"Baby?" Hyunjin spoke again as the silence swallowed the warmth he felt just before closing his eyes, and it made his heart race uncomfortably in his chest.
With a growing sense of unease, Hyunjin tossed the blankets to the side and leaped out of bed, his bare feet meeting the cool carpeted floor as he hurriedly made his way out of their bedroom and into the living room where he began searching the apartment for the person he loved.
Tugging his fingers through his messy hair, Hyunjin scanned the room, a deep sense of fear settling on his chest— a feeling that felt too familiar— Felix was gone.
That's when his eyes landed on a note propped with magnets on the fridge door, the words barely visible from where he stood.
An indescribable dread filled him; it was as if he could hear the sound of his heart cracking under the weight of what he might find.
Rushing into the kitchen, he read the note and then dashed back to their bedroom, where he snatched up his phone, desperation flooding his system.
The sleek device felt heavy in his hands as he typed out a message, his fingers trembling slightly with anxiety.
Hyunjin: Babe... Do you mind telling me where you are?
The moment hung in the air, every second feeling like an eternity as he awaited a response. Then, as if taunting him, the three dots popped up at the bottom of Felix's message window— letting him know that Felix had read his text and was now typing.
