Hyunjin's heart raced as he turned to the end of the aisle, drawn by the sound of Wonyoung's piercing screams. She was unmistakably furious, her voice echoing through the grand hall as she confronted Felix with an intensity that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up.
"What are you doing here? What is he doing here!?" She shouted repeatedly, her words laced with disbelief and anger as people started to mumble among themselves. But the chaos around Felix seemed to drown her out, his own cries of distress rising above her increasingly frantic tone.
"Leave him alone!" Hyunjin hollered from across the room, the panic behind his voice fueling the adrenaline in his veins as he prepared to rush toward them. "Don't touch him! Don't you dare touch him!" he screamed even louder, this time pointing a finger towards his soon to be father in law's direction.
Just as he was about to sprint down the aisle, Chan's strong hand caught his arm, pulling him back.
No matter how much Felix fidgeted, cried, or squirmed in his seat, Chan found it impossible to catch a glimpse of his face. The curiosity gnawed at him, and there was a relentless urge to lay an eye on the man whose mere existence had brought such a change in Hyunjin's entire life.
The thought of them never meeting in person seemed almost surreal to him. He didn't know what Felix looked like or what he sounded like.
Hyunjin had a sick obsession with his little minx that was impossible to ignore. It was an obsession that colored every single conversation they had. Felix's name always managed to slip through Hyunjin's lips... In fact, Felix was all the raven could talk about whenever they were together, regardless of how much work they had piled up for the day.
