Apparently, whispering Felix's nickname had an immediate and captivating effect on the blonde, almost like a beacon slicing through the loud ambiance of the room.

Felix shifted uncomfortably, the feeling of being watched curling around him like a heavy fog. There was an instinctive pull deep within, compelling him to change his focus and scan the room.

His gaze drifted over the lively crowd, taking in the low, amber glow of the lights and the sound of laughter mingling with clinking glasses.

Then, he spotted a tall figure clad in a striking combination of red and black.

The man stood confidently against the polished wooden bar top, his obsidian hair sleek and captivating, catching the light in a way that drew Felix in like a magnet.

A wave of nostalgia washed over him as he observed the man's features; they were almost eerily reminiscent of the one he loved and longed for— his sugar.

As the stranger turned slightly, Felix's breath hitched in his throat.

In that moment, reality blended with fantasy as recognition struck him like lightning.

It was him.

Hyunjin.

His heart raced with disbelief and wonder, the stark truth of his presence sending a thrill through the blonde's veins.

How could it be?

What were the chances of them meeting on the first date the blonde had agreed to go to after leaving Hyunjin?

Hope and longing swirled within him as he took in the sight of the man he adored, leaning effortlessly against the bar, seemingly unaware of the storm of emotions he had stirred within Felix.

Hyunjin sat there, a glass of amber whiskey cradled in his hand.

When their eyes finally locked, he raised the glass slightly in a silent toast, a playful glint dancing in his dark gaze.

With a teasing wink, Hyunjin brought the glass to his lips, savoring the fiery warmth of the liquor as it slid down his throat.

At that moment, Hyunjin could have sworn he heard a soft gasp escaping from Felix's lips, a mix of surprise and delight that sent a thrill through him.

His lips curved into a knowing smile as he winked once more, enjoying the playful charge in the air between them.

The intensity of the connection felt electric, each subtle gesture amplifying the silent conversation they were having amidst the bustling crowd.

Felix's stomach twisted anxiously, and he felt a wave of nausea wash over him as he turned around and ventured further into the shadowy corners of the loft, his heart pounding. The heavy atmosphere made it hard to breathe, and he was thankful that Hyunjin couldn't see him anymore.
