❤️

Let's celebrate the 14k reads with this chapter, shall we? I am so surprised that people are reading this mess... Honestly, I was feeling a little disappointed with how it is coming out but seeing it grow fuels my need to write more and more... I know I said that I was going to try and finish the book before August 1... But I would have to skip so many things that I have planned for it that I don't want to rush it.

Would that be okay?

Enjoy and wish me luck. I am in a little pain and I need to recover before the 31st when I start my new job.

LOVE YOU!

"That is not the way Hyunjin likes people to see him, right? That can't be Hyunjin at all," Felix whispered quietly to himself as he walked through the maze of hallways.

How could he tell if the man he saw leaning on the tree was Hyunjin?

The man's tall stature resembled that of Hyunjin, yet his casual attire —sweatpants and a hoodie stained with paint— seemed unusual. It was far from the stylish and put-together image of Hyunjin.

"Maybe it was him," the blonde muttered under his breath when he remembered how beautiful his sugar looked as he painted him.

Felix shrugged it off as just a coincidence, and he entered the classroom for his final lecture of the day. He felt a sense of relief wash over him, knowing that he could leave soon.

His tired eyes scanned the room, searching for any sign of his friend, Jeongin. After a moment, he spotted Jeongin in the farthest, darkest corner of the room. Although it was difficult to see, he could make out Jeongin's beckoning gesture, urging him to come closer.

When Felix got close enough, Jeongin exclaimed, "Hey, you're late," even before the blonde had settled his ass into his chair.

Felix took a deep breath to steady his racing heart and replied, "The professor isn't even here yet. How can I be late?"

Jeongin pointed out, "The professor is also running late, Lix. It's already five past two, so technically, you're late."

"I was engrossed in the book we have to read for literature," Felix explained. "Did you know that the protagonist kills himself after thinking his soulmate passed away?"

This revelation made Jeongin gasp in shock. "W-what!?" Jeongin exclaimed. "How can the male protagonist hang himself?"

Felix shrugged his shoulders. "Well, that is what happened. Do you prefer that I not say anything about it? I mean, I already told you what's going to happen, so you should expect it. That way, you won't cry as much as I did when I found out."

"I don't want to read it anymore," Jeongin declared, only to be hushed by a classmate sitting in front of them. "Don't shush me, bitch. Mind your own business," Jeongin retorted.
