POV Suki

The rest of the day goes quietly, everyone at the office doing their usual task as if the morning incident never existed

Well, why would they care? That has nothing to do with them

Suki felt like she was the only person stressing about this whole situation

Alessio and the others are finally back from their meeting but they were already locked inside a conference room again to debate about the event even more

One thing about Alessio is that he is such a perfectionist that he doesn't mind to overwork to get the result he wants

We barely spoke today

I don't know if it's cause he is busy and that has nothing to do with our breakup or if he is avoiding me by working as much as possible

I grab my purse, the only accessory I brought to the office this morning since I slept at Jimin's place last night

I barely spoke with Jimin today too, cause I'm sure Rudy already told him about what happened this morning and I just didn't want this to be the topic of our conversation after such a wonderful night we spent together

I stop in front of the conference room, watching the small group and Alessio talking, they're so invested that no one notices me standing in front of the glass window

" You're leaving? " Lorraine asks as she stops by my side

" Yeah, I wanted to say goodbye but it seems like they're very busy " I say, referring to the other employees inside the conference room

She waves in the air as she shakes her head

" You know how Alessio is, the Jeon charity ball is next week, so trust me, they will be on do not disturb mode until next Sunday "

I smile slightly, a bit relieved that no one seems to think that he is avoiding me

The secretary at the reception passes by us and after a quick greeting, she gets inside the conference room after knocking discreetly

She carries coffee for the small group inside, but there was something different in her eyes when she handed the cup to Alessio

Her eyes are gleaming, her cheeks slightly pink as she blushes

" Oh, seems like Jana is also under Mr Mancini's spell " Lorraine says playfully

I look at them

Alessio barely noticed her, but it was obvious how bad she is into him

" They would actually make a very cute couple " I say, honestly excited

I feel relieved and glad that Alessio is being looked at the way I couldn't look at him

He deserves the best

Lorraine looks at me

" Really?? I once thought that you two were secretly together...you know, the Hamptons trip, the way he reacted at your place when you passed out, it was...kinda...you know "

I can't help but blushing slightly

" We... were getting closer to be honest but we were quick to notice that it wasn't going to work so, we decided to keep our relationship as it was before "

Lorraine nods slowly

" Huh...I see " she says simply

And this response only alarms me

" I feel a little nervous to be honest, we barely spoke today, do you think he is avoiding me? " I ask

" Who? Alessio? "
