chapter thirty four

POV Jimin

My fingers are trembling around the steering wheel, it's been a few minutes since Suki has left and I still couldn't start the car

There is just something about Suki being completely mad that makes me feel so unwell

It's my first time witnessing this side of her and I feel so guilty, so bad

But what was I supposed to do?

Emily is really that dangerous and I wouldn't let anything happen to her

I had to take serious measures even if it was without her consent

Lord, I feel so bad

After her boyfriend signed the papers, the agency immediately sent guards in Berkeley and also guarding her apartment in los Angeles

Cause I wanted everywhere she could be feel 100% safe

But did I make a mistake by doing that?

As soon as Suki arrived in LA, the bodyguards warned me that there was a suspicious car after her

They wanted to react immediately but I told them not to, that I had control over the situation

Since Suki had no idea of the things going on with Emily and the security agents, I didn't want her to be overwhelmed if they took care of the situation

That's why I asked her to join me in that parking lot so I could drive her somewhere myself, while letting her know about the situation

Well, it seems like Emily wasn't really chill about that and simply started to act crazy

Making it ten times harder for me to control

The intensity of the anger that I read through Suki's eyes aches my heart

I let out a curse as I hit the wheel abruptly

" Fuck "

My phone rings and I pick up immediately

" Mr Park, miss Lee has arrived home safely " the agent tells me in his robotic toned voice

" Thank you " I reply simply

I hesitate for a moment before I add

" Keep watching her and make sure she is safe, you've seen what happened today "

" Mr Park, you forbade us from doing our job " he replies, probably pissed

I sigh

" I know, this won't happen again, Miss Lee's safety is my top priority and so is yours "

" Copy " he says before he hung up

Even though she is so mad that I got her bodyguards without her consent, I can't just fire them simply cause she is mad

I know I shouldn't do something like that without telling her first,  but it's already done...

I'm deeply upset at everything that happened today, Emily wasn't kidding

I can't play when it comes to Suki's safety either

I start the car and drive to the apartment

I'm not done with Emily yet

I have the certainty that I've lost all possibilities to be with Suki one day in the future...all because of Emily's actions

I have nothing to lose now cause I've already lost the most important

So she better kill me if she is really that thirsty for revenge
